seriously, that is one unintelligent thinking of Nigerians. @op when mikel played the said world cup then, he was by far the best player in the tournamen, only a big thanks to fifa for directing the mvp to messi; plus for the next cosecutive 3 following years he has been a great player.
For a CDM wining player of the month at the almighty EPL isn't a joke.

Who told u that those countries don't discuss why they failed at major tournaments. I don't know why we always think low of our country by believing we are the only ones that do what is wrong. Go to Brazil websites and read how they angrily criticized their team's shameful exit from the world cup.

My broda what we are saying is that we need this guy as soon as possible in the super eagles. We have faced enough mental and emotional tortures in the hands of some of our senior and so called experienced players. Iheanacho did not only scored in his debut, he was also voted the Most Valuable Payer of the match. I mean man of the match. This is not a small feat at all. His carriage, dribbling skills, accurate passes were phenomenal. He also scored in the second match to show hat his goal in the first game was not a fluke.
So what are we waiting for. He should gradually be introduced as substitute to our attacking midfielder in subsequent superb eagles matches.
All we can only do is pray for this young guy to have a great career ahead.

In as much as i don't want Mikel near the starting line-up any more, i think iheanacho is still unproven at top levels. Most Nigeria u17 or u20 players shines early after sometimes they begin fade.
