There is this phenomenon that always catch my attention anytime I fly over or ride on the sea. Few miles to the sea, the sea water will have a brownish/brackish look, as you move further, it will turn to light blue color and it is when you move further more into the sea that you will found the deep blue ocean water color. I guess this only happens in Nigeria coastal Especially Lagos) waters because of dirty fresh water coming into the sea. My question is does this phenomenon happen elsewhere in Nigeria waters or other countries'.
