Nothing is misleading with d topic. This happens this morning and I was shocked to see that is was ur GO. This type of harassment is common in ph by escorts of politicians and expatriates so we were all surprised that a person like ur GO who shld be giving the common man hope on the peril of the nation is actually emulating those that oppress us!

Sir permit me to do a little brk down of the word storm to further butress my point: in a nut shell, according to Concise dictionary to be precise, the parlance storm means (1). A violent disturbance of the atmosphere with strong winds and usually rain, thunder, lightning, or snow. (2) a sudden violent display of strong feeling. (3) a direct assault by troops, move angrily or forcefully in a specified direction etc

If I construed ur fact quite well, did u see Kumuyi holding any 'koboko' ? The answer is NO. I opened ur thread when I saw the caption ''Kumuyi storm PH with 'koboko'". I personally thought (I think most pple probably had the same thought) that the said man of God was holding 'koboko' whiping pedestrians and other road users as he went via the streets of P-town. I repeat it again, no sane security personnel will molest a road user if the person is on his track except some drivers who exhibit some recklessness in a traffic gridlock. If u feel personally offended, and Kumuyi gets to know, he'll definitely apologise to u personally. Moreover, I can vouch that the humble man of God would have been sitting quietly @ the back of his car unaware of the goings-on infront of the convoy or motorcade as the case maybe.

Furthermore, Pst. Kumuyi and other saintly preachers alike wouldn't have approved of the police escort or whatever to start harassing motorists because he was passing by. Am sure he was not on rescue mission! Pls be equally guided that Pst. Kumuyi has never and will never preach against anybody resorting to medical treatment. It's falacious, smacks of sarcasm and a great misconception from the pit of hell that must be jettisoned!

akuko! i know what i witnessed. the convoy even took one_way (opposite direction) harassing motorists on their right-of-way. there is no way he wouldn't have noticed wat was going on. and like i said earlier people thought it was a politician or expertrates that were being escorted only to find out it was him.

Op let me enlighten you a bit....

of all the security details Kumuyi has, u can't find one policeman there, he has his own special security that follow him everywhere.....the ones whipping people with koboko are the ones sent by the governor to pick him from the airport to wherever he was going...you can make your findings better...

and why won't that kind of person needs security personnel around..he started moving around with security the day he was robbed at new garage in Lagos Bariga...that was long ago sha....

and I personally had an experience when his convoy was held up in traffic for minutes in Lagos back then when I was in secondary school, you need to see how pedestrians flocked around his car when they found out it was him, even we the students were not left out and all he did was smile, waved and said "you students need to be in school"....not even his details chased us, though they came down to keep us away from the car....
