Pay David no mind, he's basking in delusion cheesy

Bae did you know that David's Liverpool last won the English Premier League in 1990?

Are yet to lift the FA Cup title since 2006?

Last won the Champions League in 2004?

We've tasted more success than them in the last decade. We've got a bigger global fanbase, bigger players, bigger sponsors and a brighter future.

Once again, pay him no mind. His team is dead, he's simply building a salvation army that'd help arrest the hiatus cheesy

Did you just mention "Mouthed,"?

You don't want a team with 1 Champions League Trophy...

Come join the 5 time winning CL + 18 PL titles and much more

GoodAm Senorita.

I don't have an Idea what we'd call here.

Considering we've been trapped here far too long, maybe it should be known as ''DOME'' cheesy

Guess I made the right call then.

Advertisers know that Sex always sells.
Take that close up ad for instance, the one where Rihanna's song was used.

It had this sexy feel to it, yet you can't call it trashy.
Such ads are likely to stick in the minds of consumers and wannabes for a really long time.

Now, again, it depends on your target audience, according to demographics.
If something like is pulled for an Indomie Ad, I bet you, APCON would call for their heads or consumers even.

Y'see Hun, I'm actually a wannabe in this field.
I won't call myself an expert just yet, especially in mainstream advertising.
Which is why I'm taking that course.
I'm more an Outdoor Advertising Expert/Account Management Executive.
Besides, I just might be getting brain lazy.
I haven't read in a while.

Errrmmm
That'd be more like Personification - wikipedia

That's ascribing human characteristics or form to anything other than a human being?

The simplest example I can think of's a young lady calling a sweet looking poodle her baby/child

Or a car freak who considers his Ferrari as his wife?

How'd I do? grin
Re: The Dome by MizMyColi(f): 12:36pm On Sep 25, 2014
In religion and mythology,
anthropomorphism refers to the perception
of a divine being or beings in human form,
or the recognition of human qualities in
these beings. - wikipedia

You did pretty good and ya excerpt from Wikipedia is spot on.

Now, have you ever considered using that in advertising?

The thinking here is pretty simple: The more human a product is, the more connected people feel to it. This is more like creating a bond between the consumer and the brand.

It's feasible. If only you the advertiser can add thoughts and emotions to objects in a similar way to how we would experience things ourselves. This in turn makes us empathize with things. cheesy

Now take a closer look at this Heineken logo and tell me what you observe.

Yeah that.
Oh, I'm well aware of that too, just the term seemed so unfamiliar.
We call it appealing to human emotion(s), not even reasoning this time.

We're well aware of the power of emotions over reasoning, so it's a tactic too.
One way that is done is through music.
Everyone can relate with music.

One writer says Music is the only proof he needs of the existence of God.
Waow! You challenge me to pick my books up again.

It's a pretty slow day, I'm unusually dull too grin
My brain's experiencing a temporary lag, more like being lazy.
I think it's about visiting cool

Talk to me Hun, I just might snap out of it.

Besides, Heineken's a name. right?
So could it be that A human characteristic was ascribed to something innanimate, meant for human consumption, so they could relate more to it as a brand?

Like when I say, don't pull a bukato/rozay on me........
It appeals to people because they can relate with the names even if they (names) aren't directly related to what I might be talking about, but because of the experiences behind the names

Hope my thoughts are coherent right now? cheesy
Re: The Dome by MizMyColi(f): 1:35pm On Sep 25, 2014

Could it be the e, looking like a smile, giving a more human feel to the logo?

Lol

Homosapiens are all about emotions, all you need do is to speak into those feelings and you have them under your control, Manipulation is the word. cheesy

You might not notice it at first, but in comparison to the other letters, the three “e”s in Heineken are slanted slightly backwards, their bottoms curved, grinning up at you with a toothless smile grin grin grin

This is one of the gazillion reasons why drunks grin back to their Heineken, they are in love cheesy

Great one there @AirbornL.
Just learnt from that.

Are You also into Advertising or you just gave it a read?

On the "Heineken" talk.

The green bottle with racetrack label is the origin
of the brand’s visual identity.

According to Wikipedia, the three 'e's on the
Heineken logo are tilted backwards slightly,
making them look like they are smiling. The
smiling Es were brought in as the original label
was thought too formal for the beer. WOW!

Just read on the logo details " Star-Heineken logo on a Heineken green background is preferred above on a white background, it reflects the character of the brand better.
Re: The Dome by DAvIt0(m): 11:31am On Sep 26, 2014
"The Dome" ?

dome - /dəʊm/
noun
1. a rounded vault forming the roof of a building
or structure, typically with a circular base.
2. a thing shaped like a dome, in particular:
3. a stately building.
verb
1. (of stratified rock or a surface) become rounded
in formation; swell.

MizMyColi and AirBorneLacer . Why "The Dome"?
Your reasons...
