This keeps coming up as men & women generally misinterpret the meaning of a Child.

Webster's dictionary states a Child as one between infancy and youth..
In another definition in the same dictionary, a child is referred to as a man or woman of human parentage.

People generally interpret the word 'Child' as referring to a young boy / girl and disregard themselves as Children despite their parents still being alive.

In a gathering where the children are called out,only the young come out ;
Even the public holiday set aside for celebrating Children ( May27 ) is generally regarded as a day for the young !

My take on this is everyone with parent(s) still breathing is a Child.

Nairalanders,please share your views and takes on this....
