Nigeria's best performance at a CWG was winning 37 medals in Victoria 1994. In 2010, Team Nigeria won 32 medals.

So with 13 more medals, the current contingent will set another record.

Tomorrow is boxing semi finals day. Three Nigerians would be fighting . I expect d 2 men to make d finals while d very impressive female boxer might just not make it against d English woman.

I was wondering too. Those 'sports' look inexpensive to set up. The NSC can maintain even a part time pool of netball players. Ditto for badminton and rugby sevens.

At 6:47pm, Nigeria's 4x400m Women's relay team will compete in heat 2.

At 7:18pm, Nigeria's 4x400m Men's relay team will compete in lane 3, heat 2.

At 9:10pm, the Women's 4x100m relay team compete in lane 8, heat 1

At 9:43pm, the Men's 4x100 relay team compete in lane 4.

Result: In men's boxing, Efe Ajagba lost to Aussie, Goodall by 84-87, in the semis. But Ajagba will still be awarded a bronze medal, as a semi finalist

The first runner was a bit slow but the 2nd and 3rd runners were great, especially the 2nd runner who received the barton as the last position and handed over as the 3rd position!
