Whenever I was with my friends,I wouldn't take my blackberry out of my pocket because I knew if I did I will succumb to the need of checking Nairaland

Anyway,Ɣou are probably wondering Those four words that changed my life

It happened one afternoon,I logged in to nairaland and then my eye caught that phrase ....
Create a new topic

I had always loved writing.I had a few unfinished poem on my memopad but I never got the courage to finish them because I was lazy.It Took me a few days to decide whether to post them or not,I had a feelings that people wouldn't read it because it was a poem

I uploaded my First poem, after much days of reminiscing. To say I was nervous was an understatement.I was terrified.

I checked the poem each five seconds to see if I've got a comment and see the number of people that had viewed it

After 2days of agony,My blackberry gave me a notification,I checked it and saw it was a mail from nairaland

at OP, you once talked about session e.g 'sexuality session' but I think it should be 'sexuality section'.

You should try and define the themes you wish to address so the plot wouldn't go in disarray. I understand you're writing straight from the head but try and outline the themes so the chronological arrangement of the plot won't be so scanty.

Nice one. Keep it up.

IT was a mail from nairaland,My heart skipped a bit

" I love your poem,Ɣou should
Write more soon"

I almost jumped in joy as I read it.someone liked my poem;someone had actually read and enjoyed my poem

That was the message from Blindnaijapoet.I checked His profile and I just got fascinated by his profile, maybe because he left a comment about my poem.who knows

Although,it took me 2days to reply him, because I was contemplating whether to or not.I was grinning from ear to ear as I said

"Thank Ɣou"

That was just the suitable word to say to someone like that.thank Ɣou was a better compliment, afterall he was appreciating my poem

That was how it started, those four lettered words(create a new topic) has really gotten me into something I love.I uploaded more poems and it made me gain more fans and new friends in the process that I almost forgot that I was a lezz

Afterall, what I enjoyed most from Nairaland Was to read stories and poem,so it aint bad if I write poems for people to read to.I thought to myself

But then it happened.I was lying comfortably on my bed, while reading a story On nairaland with my laptop. My phone buzzed, announcing I got a new mail, smiling,I clicked to open the mail

Blindnaijapoet sent u a message

BlindNaijapoet again,my eye brightened with excitement, the reason for this I don't know.

I hardly get excited when it comes to guys and their matter. Different questions were running through my mind, why did he message me again? What was the content of the message? why did he choose that moniker?probably he is blind or perhaps he is popular,or maybe he write poems for nigeria,or maybe......(My thoughts were endless and my questions sounded Rhetorical)

"Ifeoluwa,Omolola is waiting for Ɣou
In the living room"
Mum's voiced barked at me from the living room
Why is this woman always cutting my imaginations short,I wondered to myself

I went to the living room,to meet my cute friend.we exchanged greeting, and we gossiped a little.

I enjoyed her company that evening. Omolola was never short of gist, she knows virtually everything going on within her.

Omolola is the my childhood friend,we do virtually everything together. When we were younger, people had always thoughts we were twins Omolola was much prettier than I am,she pulls crowd, she has this sexy way she walks that attracts people.she hardly pass by without someone noticing her and admiring her beauty
