Yesterday evening on my way from banex plaza, I branched at the suya spot to buy some suya from one of my best customers. On the process of transaction,the following conversation ensued between us ME; "my customer how is business"? Mai suya; "my friend, it is not a small thing o. Customers hardly buy meat these days." Look at that my neighbour that sells chicken, He had sold over a hundred of chickens. As a matter of fact, you are the only customer I've had since morning. Everybody has opted to chickens and fishes. ME; "Na WA o. This is very serious! what exactly is the reason? Mai suya; "nobody trusts us any more. They all think we can poison the suya and kill them. ( he sighed] this boko haram issue is the only problem we are facing. They see all of us as boko haram. ME.; (feeling very sorry for the man) "no worry, God will provide customers" (I concluded and left) Me ghon sef no dey fear death. What do y'all think about this? Source. Me.com |
