ABUJA — THE Presidency, yesterday,
tongue‑lashed Governor Rabiu Musa
Kwankwaso of Kano State for
accusing President Goodluck
Jonathan’s administration of running
a government based on ethnic
sentiment and religious bigotry.
The Kano governor, in an interview
with newsmen, weekend, in his office,
argued that the real cause of
insecurity in the country was bad
leadership, adding that the inability of
President Jonathan to tackle the
issue of insurgency has exposed
Jonathan’s incompetence to preside
over the affairs of Nigeria.
In his reaction, yesterday, the Senior
Special Assistant to President
Goodluck Jonathan on Public Affairs,
Dr. Doyin Okupe, said Governor
Kwankwaso must be must in lacking
mentally while commenting on
national issues.
According to him: “Rather than
expose himself continuously to public
ridicule, Governor Kwankwaso should
spend his remaining period as
governor in delivering on his failed
promises to the people of Kano
state.”
In a text message to Vanguard,
yesterday, Dr. Doyin Okupe, who
accused governor Kwankwaso of
having local mentality, stressed that
the President was not running a
clannish government.
Okupe said: “Kwankwaso must try to
be cerebral when commenting on
national issues. The “kwankwasiya”
mentality may work for him locally in
Kano, but definitely will not carry him
far on the national platform.
“President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan
is not running a clannish government,
neither is he playing any religious
card.
“Are the ministers of Finance,
Agriculture, Inspector General of
Police; Group Managing Director of
NNPC; Chief Justice of Nigeria; Chief
of Staff and Principal Secretary;
Special Adviser, Adviser, Media in the
Presidency Ijaws or from the South
South extractions?
“Kwankwaso should spend the
remainder of his tenure to deliver on
his failed promises to Kano people
instead of exposing himself
continuously to public ridicule.

Since kwankwaso left PDP his self confidence has eluded him. He now lament like a woman because he has been badly affected by the spirit of Buhari which is the spirit of failure and lamentation. Buhari is carrying the spirit of failure (lost election 3 times) and all his follows are also affected e.g. chris ngdige in anambra, fayemi in ekiti, nyako in adamawa and very soon aregbesola and almakura will join the league of failures. Kwankwaso you have committed political suicide by teaming up with Buhari and your affliction is just in a matter of days. Nyako bragged more than this but today he is a history in the political terrene of Nigeria.

You must be stupidt, so presidency should fold their arms allow a Kano based CATTLE to rubbish their government abi? So, Kwakwanso's job is to throw unsubstantiated claims. Mtcheeeeewww.

This means we should also blame the incessant attacks in Kano state, on his incompetence as a governor.

And the fact that majority of the attacks, target a particular part of the state, with very little done by the governor to curb the menace on his ethnic sentiment and religious bigotry.

Kwankwaso has indeed delivered his promises to the people of Kano.
As for security just ask anybody who resides in Kano, the near TOTAL withdrawal of security personnel from the state government at a time when there are renewed terrorist attacks in the state says alot about the presidency.

Show courage by sending the military into the stronghold of Boko Haram, and not after opposition figures and for elections. The braggart and arrogant presidency will always trivialise such critical advice.

Mr Kwanks has been the only guy that have faced the failure called gej head on and for a sustained time.i pray they dont take him out soon.
