How Did The Bubonic Plague Or Black Dead Ended?????? by KnowAll(m): 9:29am On Aug 07, 2014
Just wondering how did this plague ended considering it happened in the middle ages between 1400's to 1600's where a lot of the antibiotics and other medicines we have at our disposal today are non-existent. How did it come to an abrupt end. It must have been a miracle. Just wondering how a disease that wiped out millions could just end at her own accord. It is strange and borders immensely in the fringes of what one can term a miracle !!!

If that disease can end(Black dead or Bubonic Plague), there is no reason why ebola would not come to a logical or illogical conclusion taking into cognizance historical precedence. The big question would be at what at price in terms of human casualty. Aids took millions with her in the late 80's and early 90's, i hope we are not in for another pandemic. undecided lipsrsealed

It could be that the Bubonic plague simply ran out of victims to infect, after emptying most of metropolitan London, in much the same way as a wild-fire peters out when the wind dies down and there is no more grass to burn.

The mind boggles as to what lies in store for your average Joe using public transport, or walking amid the jostling crowds that congest the streets of Nigeria's towns and cities, if a full-blown pandemic erupts there as a continuously accelerating chain-reaction that began when the first victim of Ebola fever arrived in Lagos airport with his deadly payload delivered by passenger jet from Liberia with love.

The destiny-altering decision, as to whether or not the San Diego-based manufacturer of the only drug with measured curative efficacy against the Ebola virus elects to mass-produce the patented drug in order to save Africa lives, will, in effect, determine the course of human history. If African lives are ultimately deemed expendable in the opinion of the only company currently holding the means to stop the contagion, then the Ebola virus' invisible Tsunami of death will surge inexorably to engulf and annihilate every human habitation present on Planet Earth, beginning with the Africa and Europe.

If, on the other hand, the Ebola cure vaccine IS allowed to enter mainstream use AT ANY COST to the World Bank, and IMMEDIATELY, then the world can be spared from an Apocalyptic scenario already unfolding on the streets of Liberian towns, where Ebola's mounting dead are dumped and left to rot in the tropical sun by panic-stricken relatives unwilling to be captured and relocated into quarantine "concentration camps" with other Ebola "suspects" similarly rounded up from all homes where the dead were retrieved by the state. How many most fortunate souls remain alive in Liberia after Ebola has done its worst, remains to be seen.
