urhoboman: How often do dey change the gloves? Do they use the same glove to serve 5 to 10 customers? They are the ones putting customers at risk while protecting themselves alone. Imagine a bank cashier collecting a withdrawal slip and cashing an ebola victim and still use the same hand(glove) to attend to a healthy customer thereby posing the later at risk of contacting it.

The customer too should be self conscious and do the same, the Banker is only concerned about protecting his or herself, it is not their duty to protect you from the Virus, so you should also wear your own gloves.

1stola: As a Laboratory Technologist, I am still willing to help... I have written to many top government health agencies through their website and still waiting on their response.
I will really love to work with anyone or group working on any medication for preventions or cure of the diseases or to help take care of Ebola patients.
I wouldn't mind to travel to any African country where the disease has killed lots of people.
This is not a public stunt! I just want to contribute my quarter in order to curtail this 'epidermic'
#Somebody just have to do something before this thing gets out of hands
I'm currently working in a private research laboratory and, I'll just love to volunteer.

It's unfortunate you are in Nigeria where dreams are killed, visions destroyed and talents frustrated. The political class will not be willing to help you on this. Matter of fact, you can get grants from international agencies but i tell you that of such grants are to be forwarded thru Nigerian agencies, someone somewhere will ask you for a "cut" as if na chop you wan chop the money.

I honestly don't know what advice to give you on this as Nigeria is bedevilled with corrupt, selfish and visionless leaders that will fail to see the good you wanna do.

The customers should get gloves too. Simple! Equation balanced. Can't blame the workers for protecting themselves.

Is this news? Oh yes, in Nigeria it is cos most of us are sentimental and expect our friends and families to die with us if we must die.
The public or any sane human that likes lfe should be smart ikes these bankers. Wear gloves when handling anything touched by people. this is what any sane society will embrace but no, not in naija, how dare a banker likes his life? How dare he puts on gloves? Make una sidon make bus pass una go. They have chosen to take a step to protect themselves we all should do same.

Ask him if it will make any difference if the bank worker used bare hands.
If I was a bank manager I would require all customers to wear gloves in entering my bank if they want to be attended to. And even a nose and mouth mask.

I would also sugest that the bankers have a tub of hand sanitizer on their desks and touch and rub before attending a new client or after attending to one.

Catholic church suspends sign of peace

Also, the Catholic Church has instructed its
priests to henceforth suspend all forms of
physical contacts during service, including the
traditional sign of peace, which involves shaking
of hands with other worshippers during service.

This directive was contained in a statement by
the Catholic Archbishop of the Metropolitan See
of Lagos, Adewale Martins, titled “The Outbreak
of Ebola Virus – a pastoral approach.

Apart from calling for the discontinuation of
placing of water bowls at the entrances of
parishes of the church, the Archbishop
encouraged the use of gloves when counting
offerings
as other means of stemming EVD’s
spread.

Ebola Alert!!!

Learn How To Protect Yourself...

People, It is no longer a joke!

Ebola has no cure for now but there are measures you can take to prevent its spread among your loved ones...according to medical report!

HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM EBOLA VIRUS:

* Wash your hands with soap(ALOE LIQUID SOAP): Make it a duty to wash your hands regularly. Protect your palms from pollution and other environmental irritants(ALOE PROPOLIS CREME). Avoid all unnecessary contact.

* Use a good Hand SANITIZER ( FOREVER HAND SANITIZER): This should be done regularly and carry it with you everywhere you go. Teach everyone you know to do same. Buy for your children and loved ones to carry around. Being your brother's keeper isn't a choice anymore. The farther people you know are from Ebola virus, the farther away you are from it too!!!

* Disinfect Your Surroundings: The Virus cannot survive disinfectants, heat, direct sunlight, detergents and soaps. Clean up your laundry, dishes, floors and bathrooms. Use Forever ALoe MultiPurpose Detergent for this!

* Fumigate if you have pests: Fumigate your environment and dispose of the carcasses properly. The Cleaner your environments are now, the better for you!

* Eat foods that will boost your immunity: some are yoghurt, Sweet Potatoes, Fruits, Beef, Chicken Soup, Garlic, Oats etc. Take a glass of Aloe Vera Gel Drink daily and our Forever ImmuneBlend!

* Protect Yourself: Use protective gear if you go near or care for someone you suspect has Ebola. Its even better you call the medics to take charge because they are more trained for this!

* Report: Report any suspicious symptoms in yourself or anyone else IMMEDIATELY you notice them. Don't delay!

* Educate everyone(even your little ones): Tell your loved ones, neighbours, colleagues and domestic staff. You're safer when everybody around you is educated about Ebola Virus.

The listed items are very affordable. Ebola is the expensive one here!
