Just what I wanted to confirm. This would affect delivery date. My experience is based on Lagos because of the proximity to the international airport. Mails in Edo would take some time routing to Lag before moving out. Is there international airport in your state?

Oga/madam, they sent a mail to me asking me to apply thru their any of their authorised agents, I used treasure chest and wasn't charged a dime for it apart from the 100$ application fee and that was how I got the PGD. Please google them or I can give u their number.try calling the school,ask of innocent evbota then try applying on your own now. Don't know why they insisted but they did. If still in doubt, I can send my details 2 you so u ask d sch about my application history. I'm explaining because you make it seem like I just don't know what i'm doing.

it depends on the capacity of ur sponsor, if he has a sound SOA, then u really don't need a cosponsor except u are the joint sponsor

LIke you've been advised, it will be hard to convince a VO that you are not an intending immigrant if u apply with ur a llb, bl and an llm for a diploma programme. Even d bacc diploma should be related to ur llm. otherwise it will raise quite a number of doubts as to your intention.

its not unusual to change fields but u shld tread carefully because of ur educational background. A nl in part 5 JiJola (u may want to search for his username) got his trv for a 2nd masters in a related field to his llm.


I'll advise u to carefully research for masters programme preferably a tailored specialisation related to ur llm focus. Then carefully package ur app and apply alone.

For the first question, i don't know much about that but I believe their system is more flexible. meaning, you can switch majors.

Note: ur Co-sponsor should write a fascinating reference letter as to y he his sponsoring u. He should also include all dependants and assets in the letter.

2) using a co-sponsor can even make ur App move faster. The processing wouldnt change.

3) yes, u can use as many sponsors as u want, just make sure dey r credible.

4)No, do not even think of dropping ur co-sponsor.

You need a co sponsor of uour main sponsor has low or insufficient funds to cater for your trip n expenses. Its not mandatory to use one.

Go to cic.gc.ca to know read up on the 2 modes of applications, required documents n and how to make payments. Its pretty simple to navigate d site. You may read part 5 of this thread for more info.

When i applied, i declared on my App that my father's friend will be my primary sponsor i.e he is fully responsible for my upkeep in Canada while my mum will be my co-sponsor.

I dont know why peeps get the impression that u cant use a non family sponsor for ur App. To show proof that he was credible i submitted photos we took during my convocation, ceremonies and a very touching reference letter. Datz all!

To cut the story short, it took only 7-8wks to get my TRV approved not even 9wks. If u have a credible sponsor and u have proof (pics are good enough), u have nothing to worry about.

Primary sponsor - main sponsor
Secondary sponsor - co-sponsor

Forget primary and secondary terms, use sponsor and co-sponsor.
