The Suitcase was discovered by officials at a luxury hotel in Bali, Indonesia and, inside it was the bloody beaten body of a Chicago woman known as Sheila Von Weise Mack. Currently, the daughter of the woman named Heather Mack and her boyfriend named Tommy Schaefer have been arrested in connection with the killing. Police have not named Heather and Tommy as suspects, but, according to Indonesian law, police can keep the couple in custody for up to 24 hours before they are named as suspects and, if named, they can be held up to 20 days. Heather and Tommy told the Police that they had been taken captive at the resort (the Luxury hotel) Tuesday by armed gang, whose members killed Sheila Von Weise Mack, but they escaped later BUT, hotel workers and the taxi driver who turned in the body to the police had a different story to tell. The taxi driver told police that Heather and Tommy hailed him at the St. Regis, placing one suitcase in the trunk, they then went back into the hotel and did not return. After two hours, he the taxi driver entered the hotel and spoke to employees who then went to the family's rooms and found them empty. He the taxi driver and the manager then opened the trunk, saw blood on the suitcase and then drove the car to the police station. Police opened the suitcase and found the woman’s body inside.
