APGA: Obi’s Resignation, Premeditated APC by Nobody: 6:07am On Aug 19, 2014 |
By Enyim Enyim ONITSHA—The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Anambra State yesterday described the resignation of former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, as leader of the Board of Trustees of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, as a premeditated decision. Speaking to reporters at the party secretariat in Awka, the state public relations officer of the party, Mr Okelo Madubuike, alleged that Obi’s resignation was a clear indication that he had, while secretly defecting to the Peoples Democratic Party, persuaded the four members of the House of Representatives from APGA to join the PDP. According to him, the former governor’s decision followed his ambition to be nominated the Aviation Minister or Secretary to the Government of the Federation to replace Senator Anyim Pius Anyim which is the cause of the recent face off between the duo. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/08/apga-obis-resignation-premeditated-apc/ |

I don't see how Obi's defection or alleged defection affect APC. He was never APC member, he isn't defecting to APC any time soon. APC should please leave him to his personal decision and face issues. 12 Likes |

Peter Obi is just an instrument by the PDP. Making APGA the political arm of PDP. The opposition party doesn't need telling us the motive behind the resignation. Of course, we'd already known. |

APC is a rabid dog that is why they infect anyone that joins them. Ribadu has said much about them. I can't be surprised with them poke nosing into what does not concern them. Nigerians are wise you are not the best alternative. 1 Like |
