complete rubbish. True d ppl at d helm of power affirs have no shame. If I was d one I wunt open my mouth again 2 promise anytin again. I wil jst be workin, anytim d consumers see improvment den dey should com out nd say so. Do meters increase power generation oga? Den y even talk abt meters wen u hav nt generated enough power. Again nd walahi me no undastand again dis privatisation of PHCN again cos each day d whole tin gets more misterious. Nigerians hav failed dier felow Nigerians wholefuly in power sector nd oda sectors as wel. Dey Nigerian leaders ar neva serious. D country is a mess. And my best advis is jst 2 4get abt Nigeria steady power promises nd jst look 4 alternativ source 2 be augmenting wit dier epileptic power, and jst ignore dem 2 keep on deceivin demself, maybe one day, dey wil get tired of fooling demselves. Cos if u folow dier mouth dey mite end up givin u HBP |

That man is not specific when the fixed charge will stop. What I am so worried about is this, just because the investors invested huge sums of money, that is enough for us to be ripped off all the name of fixed electricity charges? This is a very dubious means. Simple economics will tell you that power is a long time investment, so it is wrong for the minister of power to encourage the investors to strangle Nigerian electricity consumers all in the name of fixed electricity charges. |

Electricity tax introduced by Jonathan admin coupled with the electricity rate rise, Chinese and world bank loans, government bonds, high oil prices and asset sale and still poor light supply. Yet you want to vote PDP? You too like suffering. |

In my area one service cable from the transformer cut on the pole putting the whole communities in darkness, I told phcn officials and they said rain is falling, three weeks later I told them that I'm going to send my workers there to do it cus it my field they said no, since then and it almost four months now we didn't see them. And our bill and fixed charges is just accumulating without light we are still thinking of what to do them |

ictmikky: Sounds nice but we might end up still paying it one way or the other. Besides, the statement is conditional My thoughts exactly. Besides, they may not even acheive the purported capacity in a while and we would just have to keep paying. Moreso, I can bet something else will come up as some kind of new sur charge that will ensure we still pay a similar sum for. 2 Likes |

Are you aware of the old NEPA staffs (marketers) still using proxies NEPA11 to distribute bills and read meters? They have been paid millions of naira and so they cannot do such nasty job instead they contract it to touts who collect retainership of N2000 every month from different customers and still come back to settle the idiot who does nothing. Why are disco companies still keeping pregnant men with wobbling legs in their employment sef? |
