Mr ikenna(real name withheld) walked up to me one morning on my way to work,he introduced himself as the guy who bought the piece of land next to me.he further explained that he want to get married and he needs a bigger piece of land to build a flat Instead of a self-contain.
I felt for him and decide to cut him a little from mine to give him more space and allow him have a compound. We agreed on 100k
When I returned from work that day,I saw work in progress on my land.I called him and he said he will bring money the next day.to cut the long story short it took him 2months to pay me 70k and till date av not collected the rest and that was the beginning of my problem with him.
One morning while his building was in progress,I saw him digging a soak away in my land.I challenged this guy and what is worse is that he is digging it 15cm from mine and to make the matter unbearable he just wants to dig and cover it. No block building no nothing. I called some elders in the area and they cautioned.he stopped the work and I left for my office.while I was at work I recieved a call that Ikenna has continued the digging and is using my sand and gravel to cast the soak away.I went home that day and called the police.the police men came with me but to my disappointment they really did not do much. He only promiced to pay for what he used.till tomorrow I have not received a dime.
When he finally moved in.,he started doing things that made me regret ever sellingpart of my land to him.as if the soak away and the sand is not enough,he directed his gutter water and rain Water to my house.He brought his heavily pregnant wife.a woman with 0respect and manners.she comes to my compound to get h water everyday and has never said good morning as if she dug the well for me.
This woman gave birth and this man starts to beat his wife. I hear her scream and cry.on a particular day when. The guy was away she called my fiance and asked her for garri so she could eat.I felt bad and sorry for her. sent her 1000 which she don't come to appreciate(I wasn't expecting one thou)
One day this woman ran with her child and Mr ikenna did not even care to beg her or bring her back.instead he turned to terrorise the environment. He smokes weed publicly behind my window
He holds wide midnight parties and play music very very very load that people 1000 meters away can't sleep talk less of me that lives next door.
Just yesterday the phcn came to disconnect his light. when they are gone. This guy took a ladder and tried to re connect it himself.he somehow did something wrong and I have been out of electricity since morning.Itold him and he acted as if am not talking to him. To add salt to injury,this afternoon. He was watching porn and he turned the volume up so loud that even a dead man could hear the moaning and creaming of the pornstars and I was moved to tears when I saw kids peeping from the window to watch and as I tried to send them away I saw him there .
Guys am feed up because the police can't do nothing especially when I see them attend is midnight parties. He comesback late, you suddenly see him with wierd injuries and friends .
Please what should I do. How do I deal with the situation

well I wount put in so much energy into something fake for no gains.

am thinking of uploading pictures of the gutter and the soak away.
if it is advisable to do so. also all this stuff happened between a year plus now

Your kindness and willingness to be a good neighbour has now turned against you. Please, whatever he does, completely ignore him, pretend he is non existant, I mean, switch off on him, he'll soon run out of steam. Build a high fence, get a good gate with locks and keep him away. Let all interactions between the two of you be limited to hello and good day.

You have so far done no harm to him. But I will advice you to stay calm and ignore him,going to court might not help knowing who he is(a thug!) don't expose yourself to danger pls,just do all you can to always ignore him. If you can find a means of fencing,it would be better. Most importantly,report him to God. He will hear your cry and one day wipe him off your list.

Sorry about your predicament, next time don't be too quick to let someone into your privacy, try and make a small fence around you and avoid him at all cost .when his trouble gets too much, contact other set of police and make him sign a statement.
