It's great to read news like this, we also have great young talents in Nigeria but they don't get enough support. Even our scientists and Doctors, pharmacists and relevant bodies are almost in existent. Theorangeentrepreneur.com has set the ball rolling. No excuses. |

Wall nut is called "asala" in yoruba...dunno wat it is called in other local dialects though..it is a white nut enclosed in a black shell..usually tastes bitter when you take water after eating it. cutemorgan: BTW: I hope the parents/ school wardens of these boys are on the alert or have they "signed-out" the patent of this their discovery/invention to the Oyinbo people that gave them $1000? I hope this is not like the case of the Yam Pounder which was invented in Nigeria and signed-out cheaply, only for us to start importing it at a very high price! We must protect our own intellectual property rights as well. I say, apply for and get an international patent for this cure (remember wetin them do us with ZMapp? ), even if you cant mass-produce it for now! Dont sell it cheaply because you might just have sold the equivalent of McDonalds, KFC or ZMapp ... at a minute fraction of the cost. My thoughts only Lastpage! 2 Likes |

1money: congratz to the students. This is great news, the type of news we need in our country. Finally, someone who actually read and understood the article. Wondering if some people here did English comprehension because it isn't so obvious with the way they commented. Now I get why people fail English Language when they write their WAEC examinations. 1 Like |

Donfamous: not that we are sleeping before, the Nigerians doing this resides abroad, I've even concluded before clicking the topic that it can't be in Nigeria, because our people (both govt and citizens) doesn't value our intellects, but if we dare travel abroad we excel than being here, and besides there are no suitable equipments to work with, something is wrong with our education system in naija, I still believe that nigerians are one of the best active and intelligent students in the world, only if our people can reason,.It begins with you!!! |
