This is a very young university established by the present administration of Gov. Akpabio it is three years old and will be graduating its first set of students in 2015. but the interesting thing about the university is the rapid growth that it has experienced within this three years of exsistence largely due to the support it enjoys from the state government who is very interested in Advancing education in the State.
Here are come of the pictures some of them are freshly completed hence the surrounding as the whole campus is a construction site.

nice pictures op. I found this youtube video on about the university, watch listen to the vice chancellor @ 6:05 talk about the developmental plans for the school and you will be impressed.

The school is a young university just three years if they continue to develope it at the pace its going in the next ten yrs it will be a school to beat in the country.

The manner in which campus architecture and planning is taken in this country is quite an aberration. A higher institution should be an inspiring place where research and learning is enhanced. Not some concrete, glass and asphalt cage. This realism is typical of new generation universities in nigeria;an architecture that is rather "ununiversity" in nature. Some big time secondary schools outpace this by far. Imagine spending the money spent on the stadium to build a world class university!

Akpabio really fall hand here big time, how come the 1-2 story buildings are all TETFUND structures? Not even one respectable building from the state government, am i the only one noticing it? This is one project i am very ashamed off.
