Back in 1994, the whole World got a major wake-up, a comet hit Jupiter hard and questions were raised... Can a comet strike Earth in that manner? Sure it can and not only are both Governmental sponsored organizations and private organizations like National Near Earth Observation Centre keeping a close eye on everything that is moving in space, they are also studying comets and trying to educate the public with their discoveries.
