Liekiller: I'm getting really tired of all the useless, ignorant accusations on here Is anybody still able to THINK or is it all just about throwing around hollow phrases and conspiracy theories?WHO members decided that it is ethical to treat with experimental drugs to try and save lives. Instead of waiting for the drugs to certified as a cure. So why should the most promising drug be hoarded? 1 Like |

thegoodjoehunt3: WHO members decided that it is ethical to treat with experimental drugs to try and save lives. Instead of waiting for the drugs to certified as a cure. Yes indeed, why should they. If they wanted to profit from the epidemic - as some conspiracy lovers say - then why would they jealously hoard it, if they HAD it. And now they all bicker that Africans were or are "denied" zmapp. Well... Imagine if it had been used on the African doctors first. IMAGINE ooooo. Then the complaints would certainly have been "they are using us as guinea pigs" and worse. 2 Likes |

sunnyshayne: 1) it was said right from the start that THERE IS NO DEFINITIE CURE for ebola, and that has not changed since. GET THAT INTO YOUR BRAINS! 2) it was then decided to TRY experimental drugs like ZMapp even though they have NOT gone through clinical trial yet and are NOT a definite cure, but seemed promisin. Nobody ever claimed that they are a definite cure. GET THAT INTO YOUR BRAINS! 3) ZMapp was given to SIX or so patients so far - that is NOT a number that allows any statement about its efficacy. For that you need numbers that allow you to do statistics. GET THAT INTO YOUR BRAINS! 4) it may or may not helped those it was given to. Remember that 40% survive in this epidemic WITHOUT ZMapp or other drugs. GET THAT INTO YOUR BRAINS! 5) STOP crying for ZMapp and at the same time blaming those who developed it for all kinds of atrocities. Just stick to the FACTS please. The fact is: it is NOT a drug that has been through clinical trials, and therefore it is not being produced industrially yet. Which explains why not more of it is available so quickly. It's not a frickin racist conspiracy. GET THAT INTO YOUR BRAINS! So even if you didn't expect anyone to die after taking this, get a few facts into your head. We are talking about a very deadly disease here that HAS NO DEFINITE CURE. It HAS NONE, ok?? So some people definitely will keep dying even if a drug should turn out to be effective. This is not Disneyland or some fairytalde, it's reality. 2 Likes |

What I think happened, was that the friends and relatives of the Americans sneaked in Colloidal Silver to them, when no one was looking! Actually, that would not work, as they would have been guarded closer than AREA 51- where the Apollo Missions were faked. If they are being released at this time, that means that the American Medical establishment knows far more about the Virus than they are supposed to know- that it is not sequestered someone, to brst out of their chests like H.R. Giger's ALIEN, when they are eating Thankgiving Dinner, or something! How can they possibly know for sure that they are cured or something that had no cure as of a couple of months ago 2 Likes |

sunnyshayne: There is not enough Zmapp and it is an experimental drug. So even if they wanted, they couldn't give it out and nobody made it look like "the ultimate" because it is an experimental drug. Please, get your facts right next time. It is not so difficult. 2 Likes |

Lucario007: I'm sure that even those who were 'cured' of it may still have other problems. U.S. simply does not want to admit that this is a problem even they can not solve. How is it that only the U.S. citizens did not die after receiving it? Why do you think that the Americans will allow any other country to get and develop the drugs first? |
Re: Liberian Doctor Who Received Rare Ebola Drug Zmapp Dies by Liekiller(f): 8:06pm On Aug 27, 2014 |
rhames: Could it be that you are not aware of the prohibitive cost of developing and testing such drugs? That is the main reason that these drugs have NOT gone through clinical trials yet and that there is therefore no approved ebola drug at this point. Ebola outbreaks so far have been local, restricted and small-scale compared to so many other diseases. Meaning that there is no money to be made with such drugs. Instead it could be a huge financial loss. Pharma companies are... well, companies. Not charities. Whether we like it or not. And btw who said that the US alone has the obligation to create drugs for every disease there is on this planet? Realistically, the billions African governments have looted over the past 50 years should have been invested in education and science, thus allowing many more nations to contribute to development. Just saying... 2 Likes |

Liekiller: rhames: I do not blame the uS for their stance. But I blame our useless , hopeless and dead brain leaders whose only focus is how to corner the country's resources and lack of focus. We thank God that Nigeria is a able to withstand the pressure and take a giant leap for the black race.Whatver anyone cares to say or do about Nigerians, we are still African and our brothers keeper. And we will continue to be the pride of the black race for centuries to come. |
