It's hard to see where/if the money made by cocoa, rubber, and food produce sale goes into the fed account to be distributed isnt it?

Items exempt from VAT in Nigeria include the following:
1. All medical and pharmaceutical products
2. Basic food items
3. Books and educational materials
4. Baby products
5. Locally produced fertilizer, agricultural and veterinary medicine, farming
machinery and farming transportation equipment
6. All exported goods
7. Plant and machinery imported for use in the Export Processing Zone
8. Plant, machinery and equipment purchased for utilization of gas in
downstream petroleum operations
9. Tractors, ploughs, agricultural equipment and implements purchased for
agricultural purposes.3

so cocoa, rubber and food produce which are exported do not help Nigeria. except the people/states that export them and through the minimal foreign exchange they earn nigeria. Shocker undecided

That is simply because this is a fancy infographic for the simple mind, and the detailed report stating commodities is a report from the NATIONAL BUREAU FOR STATISTICS. The funny thing is it has not changed what is already known. grin

dude, look at the amounts listed. if money comes from any of regions produce/export, it's negligible. Plus IT IS a fancy infographic which has more work put into it than the rubbish some paid journalists sit down to write. And it's clear no region is funding the other unduly, except the south-south probably. Anyways, apart from the first three which were relevant, I found the rest interesting and felt i should share
