LMAO! Boko haram can barely maintain a local government area, talk less of a state. You overrate them. The idi-ots cannot win anything. Boko Haram love guerilla warfare, not conventional war. But in the South people don't share in Boko Haram ideology, there will go all out for a conventional war.
Look, possiblely you weren't there during Nigeria-Biafra war, it took all the other tribes with the support of international community to win Biafra after 3 years.
They need apostles to remain strong anywhere, is only in the North they can have them.

Why haven't Boko Haram extend there operations to the East, West or even South South.

Nigeria's oil wealth is ALL located in the south of the country, so the Boko Haram terror gang will NOT stop at carving out a new rogue nation in northern Nigeria, but will rather set their sights on conquering ALL of Nigeria, right down to the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, so that they can plunder ALL of Nigeria's oil wealth, on behalf for their Arab masters and financiers, while slaughtering all non-Muslims and moderate Muslims rounded up along the path of conquest.

The new caliphate planned by the terrorist invaders can NOT be sustained on prayer and be-headings alone, and will require oil wealth to stand the test of time. What the West intends to do about this grand scheme remains to be seen.
