AK-PRO – Akwa Ibom Young Professionals Leadership Initiative is a gathering of Akwa Ibom young professional whose objectives are to contribute to social and economic policy formulation that would guarantee inclusive, sustainable and accountable leadership in Nigeria, To develop leadership knowledge and skill by organizing parleys and colloquium in order to provide professional feedback, to develop and share real development strategies and support communities in job creation strategies and to advance the good interest of her members in all legal and professional dimensions.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Power, and also the Managing Director of Ibom Power Company Dr. Victor Udoh who commissioned the State-of-the-art Secretariat, extolled the Secretary to the State Government Mr. Udom Emmanuel for his inventiveness in service to the state, stated vigorously that his experience and qualities have him ahead of other aspirants for the top job. He added that he was very happy to associate with the vision of the young professionals.
