THERE'S POLITICS...THEN, THERE'S STUPID POLITICS!

Like Barrister A.G. Miango I was amazed that when universally repugnant issue of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE was mentioned some Nigerian partisans immediately concluded it must have "happened in one APC State." Really? How childish do you have to be to believe that domestic violence happens only in Nigerian states governed by APC? OK, if infancy isn't the disability, how stupidly partisan could you get to believe domestic violence can't happen in PDP-controlled states?

There's politics...and then, there's stupid politics!

Stupid politics (a.k.a., stupid partisan politics) instills opposition mania, freezes common sense, breeds delusions of righteousness and strangles inconvenient truth. Stupid politics replaces love of country with hatred for anyone/thing that doesn't promote your politics. Hate becomes life's purpose. You joyfully circulate childishly-written BLOGS attributing impossible criminality to those you dislike. You neither need or ask for proof. [NOTE: a BLOG is just a personal diary].

I have seen stupid politics in USA. Some Tea Party Republicans so rabidly hate President Barack HUSSEIN Obama they will, with straight faces on national TV, accuse him of the most heinous, impossible (and childishly fabricated) "crimes."

(1): Obama -- raised in near-poverty by a single Mom -- is accused of being so wealthy he doesn't "feel" what Americans feel AND immediately also accused of wastefully giving out food stamps and welfare checks (cheques) to the poor.
(2): Obama is branded a rabid capitalist for using nearly $1 TRILLION to save the capital of Global Capitalism (U.S. Wall Street) AND also accused of being a dreadful socialist bent on destroying American free-enterprise capitalist system
(3): Obama is accused of decades-long "staunch membership" of the Black Liberation CHRISTIAN church of Rev. Jeremiah Wright AND also accused of being "a secret Muslim."
(4): Obama is accused of being "weakly ineffectual" for ending wars/refusing to start new wars AND also accused of acting like Hitler and Joseph Stalin
(5): Obama is attacked for attacking Russian President Putin for invading Ukraine by the same people who attacked Obama for "not doing enough" to stop Putin.
(6): Obama has even been attacked for "not being angry enough" as black men had, for centuries, been caricatured and expected to be easily/constantly angry.

Stupid politics robs you of proportionality, of balance and common sense!

When You:
See Boko Haram's defeat of Nigerian Army as cause for joy
Accept that all APC leaders are crooks out to destroy Nigeria
Believe that Pres Jonathan invented Ebola virus for election purposes

Well, what more can I say?
