The US is clearly soft on ISIS. Obama only reluctantly
initiated “limited strikes” on ISIS with few jets sent to
“halt the advance” of the terrorists, “protect
stranded Yazidi’s” and “protect US interests.” That
was pretty much it. What happened to US no
terrorist rhetoric? What happened to US non
tolerance to the likes of Saddam Hussein and to
Moammar Gaddafi? Why is the US suddenly so
sympathetic to the cause of ISIS and eager to permit
their existence?
Why is the US not targeting the top command and
control centers of ISIS? Today in the news, the
identity of the ISIS British accented member who
slaughtered an American journalist was the
headlines. What does his identity matter? We know
the identity of the killer of the America journalist. It
is ISIS. It is the leadership of ISIS that authorized his
killing. The US should go after the command centers
of ISIS.
The world is frankly tired of the tolerance of terror.
We the people are tired of the systematic arming of
terrorists and permission of terror to cause chaos in
erstwhile peaceful zones in the world. We are tired
of the use of “kid gloves” against dangerous, real
evolving terror. ISIS should be crushed now. Some
US media including the New York Times are
pleasantly, deceitfully referring to ISIS as “Sunni
Militants.” This is an insult to many who regard
themselves as “Sunni” worldwide and an
encouragement of terrorists.
The world needs a new direction in leadership, a
new world order where conscientious truth and
justice trump over deadly personal interests and
advantages.
ISIS is a dangerous aberration and existential threat.
It must be crushed and crushed now. It is time to
bomb their control centers and military formations.
Troops on the ground are not required for this and
such excuse by the US does not float. Iraqi troops
and volunteers will do the rest.Where are the hawks
who set-up around poor Libya and dropped 50,000
sorties to get Africa’s poor Gaddafi out of power?
Where is NATO? Where is the UN? Where is Qatar
and Kuwait?

lol Obama is not being soft he is being cautious by not dragging America in every war and etc that goes on especially in the third world. People need to remember after the Iraq and afghanistan war that was created by Bush and slowly being shut down by Obama, many Americans don't care for any war, regardless of their feelings. President Obama is doing what is within his means to appease the American citizens and help(air strikes) innocent Iraqi's from being slaughtered by animals like ISIS.

At the sametime I feel The American government pick and choses at times based on their interest, what battles they join and ones they don't; Darfur and Rwandan civil war is a very good example where America could careless but joined The vietnam war and it messed up President Lyndon Johnson then(70's) or when America went into Somalia(watch the movie: BLACK HAWK DOWN) and left in not in a good note in the early to mid 90's, I still remeber how Americans were complaining then.

President Obama must be taking in all the options and asking other european leaders to get involved, Like the UK, France, Germany, and even Russia(but I doubt they will after the Ukraine fiasco that is currently on-going and a mess, especially after the malaysian air craft that was shot down).

President Obama is doing what he can do in the present time, People need to know also some Americans even disagreed with Obama doing anything which included airstrikes or putting attention on the Ukraine or Gaza fiasco, they wanted thim to concentrate on more domestic issues.

People will always complain about Obama, especially the time he became president when the American economy was a mess and he had to quench two countries(Iraq and Afghanistan) from disaster. When President Obama got elected and he kept to the promise that he will end the Iraq war before his presidency and Americans were happy about this and I feel him sending ground troops will break that promise he made to American people. Air strikes are the best way where he slow doen the crazy ISIS but not start a breeding ground for another war in a country where he said he will end this past summer.

And on a more strategic note, there is much benefit to having all Americas enemies concentrated into one area instead of being dispersed all over the world. Terrorists from Europe, NA, China and all over the Arab world are concentrating into an area the size of belgium. Perhaps even Nigeria own terrorists will leave and join ISIS . Its beautiful because it simplifies the counter terrorism fight by a significant degree and also adds the options of non-military aggression such and sanctions and blockades if they end up becoming an actual country.
