One fresh case of Ebola virus disease (EVD) has been reported in Lagos, reports NewsDay.

Dan Nwomeh, Special Assistant to the Minister of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu, on Media and Communication, who posted the new information on his Twitter handle, @danNwomeh, said the new case is a fiancé of a primary contact of  Patrick Sawyer in Lagos.

Nwomeh, who was elaborating more on the statements the minister made during a press conference held earlier on Monday, said the patient has however been successfully managed and discharged.

He also said the sister of the late Port Harcourt doctor has been treated  and discharged.

If Nigeria now has the cure for Ebola can the government let us know.......or how exactly are they handling these cases and discharging them with unprecidented success in this current outbreak?

I don't know o, successfully managed and discharged. its like our pesticide is actually working because ever since I heard about that nanosaviour, ebola patients are being treated and discharged. Good to know there's hope after all
