Despite efforts by the Nigeria Military to reclaim the area, the dreaded Boko Haram sect on Monday continued to maintain its hold on Michika town in Adamawa State.


The capture of Bazzar, Michika and its environs by the sect on Sunday caused ripple effects on the commercial border town of Mubi, as many panic-stricken residents deserted the town.
