HIGHLIGHT OF THE PRESS BRIEFING TODAY AND RESOLUTIONS WITH JAF * A lot of Media house were present at the press briefing today by OOU SUG which was organized by Joint Action Front (JAF) * After the press briefing, series of meeting took place with JAF Executives and SUG, SUG and OOUITES present. *It was agree at the meeting with JAF that our Students' Union Government should send a letter to Ogun state Government, given them ONE WEEK ULTIMATUM to reopen our campuses and meet our demands , the one week ultimatum will end next week tuesday. * That at the expiration of the ultimatum, if there is no positive response/result from OGSG, OOUSUG in collaboration with JAF, will lead the entire OOUites for another massive protest to Oke mosan, Abeokuta with media houses fully on ground to cover it as Nigerians who have the right to a peaceful protest. * We are using this medium to inform all OOUites to prepare for protest next week if OGSG fails to reopen our campuses and meet our demads . For those that has travel, this is not the time to sit at home, pls start preparing for the protest, modalities on how to go about the protest will be unveil to all OOUites before next week tuesday. *Pls note that this is the only time we can fight for our right, this is the only time we can effect the change we've been clamouring for in reduction of our school fees. Flyers have been made ready to share to the general public to make them see and understand what we are fighting for. In the face of exorbitant fees, OOUites shall be victorious. We are getting there!!!!!! 1 Share
