A 10-year-old girl challenged an Army JROTC cadet to a push-up contest during a fundraiser at a North Carolina mall and emerged victorious. Video of the showdown, taken by Kimberly Munley, the U.S. Army sergeant who faced down a gunman at Fort Hood in November 2009, shows Kaylyn Mintz, 10, taking on the Lejeune High School student enrolled in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps in a head-to-head push-up contest during a “Stand at Attention” fundraiser Saturday at Independence Mall in Wilmington.
