XavierG: I pray they reach Nigeria, then everyone can have a smartphone in our country. Like the android one idea. Android forever!this is a good thing from the tech giants. But alas, android will have a more strong foothold in the smartphone market if Google can create a dedicated server to sift and compress data being exchange and delivered to android devices, the way Blackberry has RIM Servers for such services. This will substantially reduce data consumption and draw more users for them rather than discourage them. Instead of finishing 200MB in a day, with the server, it should last a week. |

Atleast, they are been considerate of masses who can't afford the latest high-tech gadgets out there....Kudos to them. I know some Ediots( students), that constantly complainning about running out of money, but are always with the latest apple gadegts. ...one of them is my first ex. Very ridiculous. |

ITbomb: The way Google really wants everyone to be connected to the Internet is becoming scary.u av notin to be scared of but upgrading ur privacy tool is good actually. Google just want everybody who is old enough to use a smartphone to be able to afford 1. imagine 1.75 out of 7 billion people have smartphones, do u want to tell me dat d remaining 5.25 billion people aren't interested or not old enuff to use a smartphone? even a gud tecno phone like tecno phantoms e.t.c are still expensive for most people let alone samsung, htc, sony and apple. One more tin i just wish google can work on is concerning our expensive data subscriptions with little data caps in AFRICA as a whole, even if dey av to start an ISP company dat will make d rest reduce dr price and increase dr data caps. 2 Likes |
