please I am about to buy Strong SRT4940, but I want to first confirm if it can accept PowerVu keys or if there is any of the compatible MyTv strong that accepts PowerVu. I know SRT 4922 can accept but I don't think it works with MyTv

SRT4940 does not! But 4920, 4922, 4922A, 4922D+, 4930, 4930L, 4950, 4950h, 4950M qsat26g, qsat28g all does.

It's usually adviceable not to use Qsat in tracking fringe satellites like Hotbird 13E. Reasons being that it's difficult monitoring the signal fluctuations when tracking. However, after tracking and installation u can go back to ur Qsat. Now regarding which acount to use with ur qsat. Go for a good Cline plus a DQCAM. Enjoy.

No Sir, it won't work. DQCAM only works on model versions of Q23g and below.

The fact that it's Qsat Q23g that u have, yes both protocol can work. Am no longer a dealer but now offer free consultation to any that needs. There are various European and Middle east providers for the same purpose. Contact me via my profile signature and do endeavor to state ur request as it will be easier for me to recognize ur intent. A Gshare account/code won't work on ur qsat model version or any qsat model version. If u need a Gshare account then get a Gshare enabled receiver eg SRT 4950 or Tiger series.
