Job Title: GYM Instructor

Location: Ajah, Lagos

The Role
The fitness instructors will typically lead, instruct, and motivate individuals or groups in exercise activities, including cardiovascular exercises, strength training, and stretching.
They will work with people of all ages and skill levels.
Job Description
The fitness instructors will be responsible for the following:
Demonstrate to clients how to carry out various exercises and routines,
Watch clients do exercises and show or tell them correct techniques to minimise injury and improve fitness,
Give alternative exercises during workouts or classes for different levels of fitness and skill,
Monitor clients’ progress and adapt programmes as needed,
Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations on sports, recreational activities and the use of exercise equipment,
Give clients information or resources about nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues,
Give emergency first aid if needed.
Important Qualities
Customer-Service Skills: The fitness instructors must be able to sell their services to prospecting clients and motivate clients to sign up for the classes they lead. Fitness trainer & instructors must therefore be polite, friendly, and encouraging to maintain relationships with their clients.
Listening Skills: Fitness instructors must be able to listen carefully to what clients tell them to determine the client’s fitness levels and desired fitness goals.
Motivational Skills: Fitness instructors must understand that getting and staying fitrequires a lot of work for many clients. He should be able to keep clients motivated and ensure that they come back for more classes.
Physical Fitness& Health: Fitness instructors must to be physically fit and healthy because their job requires a considerable amount of exercise and contact with clients.
Problem-Solving Skills: Fitness instructors must be able to evaluate each client’s level of fitness and create an appropriate fitness plan to meet the client’s individual needs.
Communication Skills: Fitness instructors must be able to communicate well because they need to be able to explain exercises and movements to clients, as well as motivate them verbally during exercises.
Residential Requirement
Fitness instructors will be required to resume work as early as 5a.m, hence applicants will be required to reside on the Lekki peninsula.

Sales
 
Customer prospecting and recruitment

Achieve sales targets of own territory per brand and product group

Account Planning

Communicate opportunities about local market trends and report successful programs/activations to Wholesales Regional manager
Share best practice information with other Wholesale executives and functional managers.
Add local expertise & knowledge of territory to merchandise and sales planning function
Develop an expert knowledge of competitor’s and their brand/product/ channel activity
Controls, compliance and governance via audit reviews
 
Key Requirements
 
Graduate with 1-3 years minimum commercial expertise gained across Sales/ B2B (Trade) Marketing or Sales Management.
Good people management skills.
Good track record in sales and marketing.

Good skills in Microsoft office package

Responsibilities
Execute a successful Project and assist the Senior Project Coordinator in all areas and phases of the Project; SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost). Creates, coordinates, updates, mitigates, and presents documentation/meetings/presentations/reports for internal reporting, client reporting, variation orders, invoicing, costs, budgets, staffing plans, Stage Gate, schedule, project controls and other documentation as required by the client and management.

Main Tasks

Acts as the secondary communication contact (internal and external) for the project in the absence of the Senior Project Coordinator.
Consolidates and analyzes information from Product Planning Analysts, Project Manager and System Engineer to develop the overall project Schedule (baseline time-phased schedule with proper constraints) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for assigned project sales orders.
Incorporates, Communicates, and assists in managing changes in customer requirements, change orders, and variation orders.
Participates in Schedule Reviews within FMC and with main suppliers as appropriate to ensure that schedule requirements are met.
