Boko Haram Militants Have Started Surrendering by ifyclose2(m): 4:06pm On Sep 21, 2014
Following relentless onslaught by troops, many
members of the Boko Haram terrorists group are
beginning to surrender voluntarily. Some of them
submitted themselves and their weapons to the
leadership of the troops in Konduga during a further
campaign at the weekend. The Defence Headquarters
has tweeted that "as the heat on the terrorists
continues, five terrorists surrendered on
Saturday (September 20, 2014) with all their weapons
to troops at Konduga, pleading for mercy."

Other captured terrorists who refused to surrender
have also been giving useful information on the
subsequent plans of the group in an apparent offer
to cooperate.
In the last few days there have been several attempts
by terrorists desperate to gain entry to Konduga,
which the Nigerian troops, have continued to foil.
The PRNigeria gathered that the terrorists’ move was
aimed at recovering the bodies of their prominent
fighters who had died in the previous encounters in
the area.
Meanwhile the Nigerian troops have recovered more
weapons during the mopped up operations while
some of their (terrorists') vehicles have been
destroyed. Source http://saharareporters.com/2014/09/21/some-terrorists-surrender-weapons-konduga

This part get as e be oo . . . . lipsrsealed . . .Meanwhile, the Military authorities should be very wary of the so called terrorists surrendering. It might be a ploy to decode the recent ruthless tactics of the military formation.

Only five? undecided ....And you expect us to be jumping, dancing and jubilating because five terrorists surrender with their weapons which is probably no other than a few AK 47s.

I think the military shouldn't be disclosing information to us anymore, They should be more quiet. Most of the information they disclosed to the public are just too vital! Boko members are most likely monitoring the Media.

IMO, The best intel those five can give is probably the next place they are planning to attack(That is if they are even told yet). They can't give intel about the sponsors or top commanders in the sect. I read somewhere that most of boko haram members haven't even seen shekau once in their entire life or even know his whereabouts and that of other top commanders. They are just brainwashed puns recruited through third party. What better intel can they possibly give other than the main Base of boko haram which even a kid know it is in Sambisa forest.

Any clue given can prove vital, it shouldn't be discarded or downplayed , moreover the suspected ruthless Amir killed in battle appeared to be a very visible leader in the BH camp going by stories from those who escaped.

Apart from the Sambisa, they have a very active base around the Gworza axis . . . . Anything that will lead to the death of a single terrorist is welcome grin

TrollMan: Wow coming from Sahara reporters? Unbelievable.

When we were telling y'all that SaharaReporters was just trying to humiliate the Nigerian Military before the world so as to provoke them to anger, y'all thought we were supporting terrorism. Now, y'all know better. We need more media houses like SaharaReporters for the war against insurgency to be completely won.

Of course they have to "start surrendering" when their Oga GEJ is about to start campaigning for 2015. It must appear that he is winning the war now hence we should vote him in. All these while, it was convenient to sit back and let the killing continue (including several young military casualties) so that it would appear the opposition is "making Nigeria ungovernable" for him.

Electricity supply will also soon "suddenly increase".

Okonjo Iweala will also soon come up with some new crazy statistics.

As Nigerians prepare to be taken for a ride again.

GEJ for Jail 2015.

But,

A part of me wants him to contest and WIN 2015 elections. So that in 2019, gullible Nigerians will be able to look back, take stock and realize that the previous 9 years had been WASTED. Because this current reign of impunity, lawlessness and corruption is bound to continue. And just as the life of the common man has not improved in any way using any metrics or indices (it is actually worse), we can be sure that by 2019, infact from 2016, under GEJ, the common man will still not fare any better.

Not spelling doom, but unfortunately, that is what its looking like.

Well To Me, Kill all Bokoharam who surrenders or Not.

Such Act would send a signal that VIOLENCE DOES NOT PAY.
