To me, Janet Jackson's third album "Control" released on February 4, 1986 by A&M Records remains one of the greatest Rhythm and Blues albums since 20th century to date. The album produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis has sold over 14 million copies so far.
Whilst "Control" was her manifesto to her generation which is also my generation, "Rhythm Nation 1814" released on September 19, 1989 spoke to her nation, the United States of America with the opening words: "We are a nation with no geographic boundaries, bound together through our beliefs."
Yes, it was a great album with fantastic choreography, but Janet's awesome choreography in "Control" is yet to be surpassed by any other Pop and Rhythm and Blues singer and even her legendary brother the phenomenal and enigmatic Michael Jackson was overwhelmed by his sister's mesmerizing choreography in her expressionist "Control".

Congratulations to Janet Jackson with thanks to the Almighty God who has made her an awesome blessing to our generation and we look forward to the Golden Jubilee to celebrate 50th anniversary one fine day.
