It's no longer news that Scotland almost broke away from the United Kingdom to form a new nation. But do you know the population of Scotland? Scotland's population is so small that it is not even larger than that of Oyo State in Nigeria and about 50% of Lagos State. Scotland has population of about 5 million people and I'm thinking they'll have one of the lowest population densities in the world. Of course there are countries with fewer population but Nigeria's population should actually be an advantage and not a disadvantage. Countries like China and India have turned their vast population into an advantage. Nigeria can do the same.
