Whether this news report is true or not, Tambuwal has constitutional right to endorse or not to endorse GEJ's second bid. If he feels endorsing GEJ will hinder his own political interest, why would he? Even those PDP governors that endorsed GEJ did so on condition. So personal interest is what is playing itself out here.

It will be better for this Tambuwal to just decamp to APC since he holds a contrast view with PDP hierachy on political issues in the country.
It is foolish trying to force your opinion in a party where you are the only dissenting voice.

So personal interest is what is playing itself out here. Even for GEJ, it is the fear of failing at the primary that led to coercive use of power into adopting him as d sole candidate of the party for 2015 election by the governors and other political bigwigs in the PDP.

motherlode: The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal, shunned last Thursday’s National Executive Committee meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party to evade the decision of the party to endorse President Goodluck Jonathan as its sole 2015 presidential candidate,The PUNCHhas learnt.
If PDP expels him na, una go dey shout no internal democracy. He's feeling proud and pompous now and nobody would call him to order. If he's done with the Party let him get out than carrying on like a chameleon. Is that the kind of leaders we want? Chameleons and Snitches.

Findings showed that Tambuwal was in Abuja throughout Thursday and was even meeting with the national leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association at the National Assembly while the NEC meeting was going on in the city. In the past, whenever he avoided major PDP meetings, excuses such as being out of the country or attending an important event elsewhere were givený by his office to explain his absence.
He's playing truancy already. Someone who plays truancy with his own family is not worthy of trust.

National Assembly sources confided inThe PUNCHon Sunday that Tambuwal did not attend the meeting because he already reportedly knew that the agenda was about 2015 politics and the endorsement of Jonathan. He was said to have claimed that the country was facing serious security challenges, particularly the threat by Boko Haram insurgents and the abduction of the 200 Chibok schoolgirls, which should be the main concerns of government for now and not politics. “The Speaker is arguing that this is not the time to abandon governance for politics.”
He is speaking as if his meeting with the NBA Exec would solve the security issues he is politicking with. He is trying to create unneccessary distractions that he won't even benefit from. He is a pathetic loser already.

Tambuwal had urged the NBA to blow the whistle on corruption and to prevail on politicians to stop flouting the electoral laws.
Those who live in glass houses have no business throwing stones ooo!!!

I think he has a very good reason to dump that meeting. #takebackjonathan2015
. No. I don't think so. He is just being stoopid and fooolish, because he ought to have left the PDP long ago and reliquinsh the priveledge of enjoying the position and paraphernalia of office.he enjoys as speaker. He should go and ask Alhaji Ghali Na'Aba, what it means to no longer be a speaker. I tell you, Tambuwal would become irrelevant and very insignificant as soon as he stops being the Speaker of the House and I think he knows that very well thats why he is still staying put in the PDP. What a morafocking snitchy chameleon.
