gift01: Do you mean those that reside over there are not Nigerians? Don't we pay the same Tax? If you have nothing to say, its too early for that the last thing we want from this administration is abandon the Oshodi/apapa Lagos/Ibadan projects. so let them do it one after the other. |

In their desperation to take over Lagos State, PDP is embarking on eye service projects. Where was the FG when the LASG took over the reconstruction of the road? |

braine: So they'll take credit for the initiative of the hard working Lagos government abi? I hope the completion date isn't prolonged as usual. Black goat. Your worry should not be the credit. Your concern should be to finish the project even if it's lucipher coming to do it. I would prefer that the road is done fast. Three years after, that place remains the same thing. |

gift01: You obviously don't lone about that route. Lagos State Government has been so slow at road construction that they've been at between Mile 2 and Agboju for over 2yrs now. People are really suffering plying that route. Traffic there is the worst in Lagos Where was FG when Fasola started the construction of a road that should have been done by them. Its obvious the project is eating deep into the budget of the state government and its part of what contributed to lagos state having almost half of Nigeria's foreign debt. Yet, in the midst of all, Fitch still upgraded Lagos state's debt rating to AA+. Few countries have this rating. It says a lot about the administration of the state. 2 Likes |

Preciousone4ril: Wld fashola agree? Cos he treats lagos like a mini country. Perhaps it's because Lagos' economy compares with that of Kenya. |

bayulll01: I vehemently disagree with you. What road is nearing completion? The very road I plied last week? We're not both talking about the same road. The Orile-Mile 2 section of the road was completed in good time and since then work has just stalled on the Mile 2-Badagry stretch. Now that's for the actual road itself. Beyond the Iganmu-Mile 2 stretch, the light rail has not further progress either. This project however laudable, has had it's progress stalled by a clueless, debt-laden LASG, and it was high time they ate the humble pie and allowed the FG take charge of the reconstruction. |

Nigerian Government has started again ooO. What happens to the current contract between the LSG and the Chinese firm handling the construction of the said road? Me think the FG should give the cash needed to foot the project to the LSG and give a completion time frame to it to avoid any form of tussle. Nigeria should grow beyond this wastage of re-allocation of an already allocated projects. 1 Like 1 Share |

Lagos - Badagry expressroad is a federal government road. For Lasg to have taken over its reconstruction means that FG must have agreed to refund the cost or concession it to Lasg to toll and recover its money. If the FG now feels it has got money to handle it, all well and good. All we need is good road even if constructed by United Nations. |

braine: So they'll take credit for the initiative of the hard working Lagos government abi? I hope the completion date isn't prolonged as usual.see as your reasoning de so shallow! Like the Lag-Badagry EW was ever souly a Lagos state project! Even if its the devil himself that takes the credit, I don't care, my main concern is, that road should be completed because people are really suffering! |

Funds delayed the project but the pace has increased and they should leave LASG alone. When the FG neglected the road, LASG thought about the initiative and now the FG wants to take the glory Never!!! The best they can do is to pump money into the project as the big brother that they are... |

Fashola scamming Lagos since 1900s. Two contractors have been changed on this same road and now the entire project owner will be changed. Ask Fashola, billions has been expended on this project with little result. Same as Lekki-Epe express road. |
