The FG is just playing devils advocate here .where were they when LASG needed their backing to secure world bank for the project? Didn't they truncate it by withdrawing from signing surety on behalf of LASG .now they want to finish it up. How come they now have d fund for the project.... Avenue to siphon TAN mobilization money abi through over inflated project cost? Repair works carried out on 3MB at overinflated #1billion with d bridge still in deplorable condition still comes to mind.Now LBE another money siphoning white elephant again.....they should channel their fund to repairing the AOE from Liverpool roundabout to sunrise bus stop first before thinking of LBE!

For LASG I think greed and insincerity on their part is stalling d completion of the project bringing on told hardship to commuters on that route if not why not slit d road in various section and give to diff contractors by now the road would hv been completed instead of giving it out to 1 contractor CCECC .is it as if they are the only 1 with expertise to construct d road? Or is someone in LASG has stakes in CCECC and returns must be giving? Questions for the Gods I guess?

people we should get our facts right and stop using sentiments LASG secured a loan from world bank for that road and FG provided guarantee for that road, this happened during the regime of Yar adua, for the record LASG insisted on taking over the repair of that road without checking if they have the capacity to handle loan repayments. It is obvious that they are overwhelmed and need federal govt's assistance from defaulting. Fashola & Tinubu from all indications used that road to play politics to deceive people into thinking that they are overperforming. Mere looking @ the quality of the road compared with apapa oshodi you would realise one thing that the contractors are starved of needed funds which leaves me to conclude that the money has been channeled elsewhere to boast someone's political empire. Any wisw person plying that road knows that LASG does not have the capacity to complete that road without bankrupting itself so it is a great relief to us that FG has to step in and end this madness. Fashola and APC have long used this road to play politics and now its threatening to bite them in the leg. and what i don't get is why the AA rating we should beware of these agencies because that was how they rated iceland,greece and spain before they defaulted please let us ask on what basis did they rate lagos when there are other states that are debt free and commercially oriented like anambra and kaduna states. please let us be wise

Loool, it looks like the usual strategy used by Federal but who cares if the road is fixed to improve people's life ,on the other side, why is Lagos government sooo slow, it's chaos on that road, no wonder people are no longer reaching the age of 70 +, stress everywhere, Criminals in charge.....(DARKY IS GOOD IN SUFFERING THEIR PEOPLE).
