I don't think PDP has a northern christian problem.

Why didn't they field one in 2011 instead of Yar'Adua?

It doesn't matter who is nominated as long as the person means well for the nation. You people are pathetic with your religious gibberish. Politicians are looting you dry and you are all here fighting based on religion and ethnicity.

Because we just had a Southern PDP christian president. Like I said, PDP is not the party tagged as Islamic in Nigeria.

And what party is tagged Islamic in Nigeria? You guys are pathetic with your thinking. So because you have a PDP Christian President means all political party should adopt him?? It is obvious you and your ilk are more interested in religion of who the President is. We weren't told to vote a Christian President in 2011 or campaign for a PDP Christian President. We were all for GEJ. We were all saying "vote GEJ but PDP". Level of foolishness being displayed by many of today's youth is nothing to write home about. I can't believe what I have been seeing on this forum in the nine months.

Answer that question

In 1999, do you recollect a certain tom ikimi shouting obasanjo obasanjo ekwueme during the PDP primaries? There was no northern contender as such. The Alliance for Democracy produce Olu Falae while ANPP had Harry Akande. There was an unwritten agreement not to challenge the yorubas in 1999. If you need more clarification ask from foundation members of registered political parties of the era and seek why all major political parties of that time had only yorubas as flagbearers.

Google is equally your friend for further clarity.

Tagged Islamic by how many people? The few and the loudest from certain part of the country.

N.B

Tagging APC an Islamic party doesn't make it so. The era of repeating lies over and over again and hope the lies stick is over. Now we aren't fooled by cheap tags. We now know better. When you tagged a party of men, women, Christians, Muslims, brothers and sisters "an Islamic Party" then you've lost the debate. You have nothing else to tell us why we should continue to support PDP after 15 years of misery.

The progressive Aribisala talks about a "Northern Christian" candidate as opposed to the best qualified one. Issokay.

Mr. Aribisala, would you mind naming a few of these potential Northern Christian candidates? I can't think of any name for now. Forget David Mark (too much baggage).

Brouhaha from Aribisala.

And who is the Northern Christian he thinks can win the election for APC? he cleverly avoided mentioning anyone because he's sure there is none.

APC tagged themselves Islamic when it registered as a political party and had 17 of its 18 board members as Muslims. They brought religion into politics except you infer there are no qualified Christians in the SW/SE/SS.

17 of 18 board members Muslims, who are you trying to f.o.o.l? Will Muslims accept a party with 17 Christians of 18 board members ?

After calling me a liar, the best defense you can come up with when the fact was brought to your face is to say you went outer space to mercury and didn't realize there was a zoning arrangement. you people attack peoples opinion and call them names yet you don't do your homework before writing jargons. The planet you went has no cable TV or Internet for you to know the story behind events in 1999.

In 2003, PDP still presented Obasanjo and the Alliance for Democracy adopted same person since they didn't present any other candidate so as not the share the vote of Obasanjo in the SW.

Buhari contested under ANPP since the agreement and arrangement was for 1999-2003. Despite Buhari's emergence Obasanjo still won some Northern States. That is the dynamics of Nigeria's Politics before Jonathan and his ethnic and religious jingoist took over our Nation polarizing our Nation in a divide never witnessed before.

What a great piece from femi, however u are preaching on a deaf ear. APC is a party on a mission, a mission to islamize Nigeria & deny us our freedom of worship, speech and association, just like ISISI of Syria & Iraqi.

.....Say No to APC..Say No to islamization of Nigeria.....Say No to boko haram

How do you debate people who love to just spread lies? How do you prove the bolded? Present Governor of Ekiti State is a Christian.

Answer to your last sentence is that; I don't care where the President of Nigeria comes from or who he prays to.
Did Tinubu have an option in Ekiti ? Could it have been otherwise ? Installing a moslem in Ekiti is like installing a moslem in Isreal. Will that not be madness?
