ABIA State governor, Chief Theodore
Orji, has commended the military for their role in
fighting insurgency in the Northern part of the
country.
Orji, who spoke when he received the Flag Officer
Commanding, Naval Training Command, Lagos,
Rear Admiral Goody Anyakpele, at Government
House, Umuahia, lauded the sacrifice being made
by the military to ensure security across the
nation.
The governor said some military men had
sacrificed their lives in the process of fighting the
insurgents in parts of the country.
He told them to keep faith with their job, saying
government depended on them and other security
agencies for security, especially now that election
was around the corner.
