It can be a bit tough for the above 35 year old woman when trying to get a man. Most men want what they would call ‘fresh blood’. Women in this age group usually get approached by balding old men, or scruffy looking dudes or younger guys who are looking for a woman they consider desperate to take to bed.

So what hope for these groups of women? Well, here are a few tips to make it easy to get your own man.

1. Stop going to clubs and bars to look for a man. Chances of finding a serious man there is slim. What you will likely find are unserious dudes who just want a fling. Most men would consider a single, middle aged woman at a club or bar as a ‘desperado.

2. Stop going everywhere with your friend(s). What guy would want to approach a group of women? It’s hard enough approaching a woman on her own. We men are scared of rejection but we can take it if no one is watching.

3. Learn to be realistic. Nobody really wants a divorcee or a single father but let’s face it, any man who isn’t married and is in his late 30’s or early 40’s will likely be a divorcee or a widower or have a kid. Somebody has to marry these men anyway. Isn’t it better being with a caring and loving divorcee or widower than with a never been married brut?

4. Ask yourself some questions. Why are you really single? Is it the pressure of work? Then try to find time for yourself. Acquiring all the wealth and having no one to share it with is pointless. Did all your ex leave you because of certain character flaws? Maybe you talk too much or are too clingy or too needy? Well, it’s time for some adjustments. Take a deep look at yourself and ask this question, will I date me?

5. Keep fantasy aside. That man you fantasized about when you were a teen and in your early 20’s will likely not come your way again. Yes, that tall, dark, handsome guy with the six packs. Very likely such guys will be too busy chasing after girls below 30 to look your way. On the bright side, you are likely to attract older men who are more mature, experienced and financially established even though they might have a pouch.

Whatever you do, never come across as desperate. Never accept a jerk or a loafer because you want your own man. Sometimes it’s better to be alone forever than to be with someone that would make your life hell.

Good advice but at 35 one should gradually begin to make peace with oneself. Not everyone is destined for marriage. Most women don't know this hence they force themselves on anyone and begin to cry foul later.

The lady will make the dude understand where his bread is buttered wella. The risk of losing it all and getting deported going back to square -1 should help him sit up and straighten out his priorities
