yes people should stop talking about it too much and giving it so much credit than it deserves.
Everyone is different,it's not compulsory you get married or go into a relationship. Its a matter of choice, some see sex as an important thing in their relationship while some don't. I repeat it again sex itself is overrated. There is more to life than sex and relationships.
you are blessed for this post! Everyone should be free to do whatever they want as long as they are happy!

P.s: whatever they want as long as it is not affecting anyone negatively or extremely evil e.g murder

Not sur ur post is related to what i said
Im saying the more prosaic sex has become, the less people see value in relationships
Do you agree

coogar:
sėx is overrated - people are starting to realise that fact.

hmm....

5minsmadness:
Its very possible.
I can't remember when last I had that crazy urge to be with a member of the opposite sex. As in toasting levels. Why go thru all that drama when I can whip up a stash of my favourite ripherup videos tongue??
Soon marriage will be a thing of the past and test tube/ designer babies will be the norm. It will be like Sylvester Stallone's Demolition Man, when you want to have sex you just plug in.
No messy fluids
No fear of unwanted babies
No STDs except maybe computer viruses.
I know cococandy will be laughing at my weird imagination.

lol at computer STIs
i agree with your postulation but how long do u think it will take to get there.. sounds dystopic cry cry

Sooner than you think. There are already virtual porn worlds where you register online under an anonymous name and you are assigned an avatar in the form of a 3Dmale or female model. Then you can have online sex with another user and the avatars act out the scenarios. Its all very posh and costs a pretty dollar. Soon guys won't need to get physical and girls can satisfy themselves with their dildoes and e-romance novels. Physical relationships as we know it will come to an end and with it the institution of marriage, family and social structure will crumble to dust.

And then the devourer will come.

What? Nooo, I admire your posts a lot. They make a lot of sense esp the spiritual connotations.

You r not a feminist are you? embarassed
LoL Thanks.

I've heard the term alot.
I still can't give a statutory definition.
undecidedI'm strangely indifferent to the topic. angry

Is feminism remotely related to human rights?

Naahh! Not in Nija. At least not anytime soon. Until we developed a reading Culture, it ain't happening.
Maybe if you put the books into a movie, then, just then, my Nija would be doomed for.

You forget the world is a global village. If its on the internet then anyone anywhere can log into it.

Personally I give us Nigerians 20yrs to get there.

women are getting themselves sèx toys and men are getting themselves dolls, so the future of sèx between a man and woman might change but no matter how you view it, we still need companionship.

You're not serious grin

I was hoping you'd give a specific practical example of something you think would be common in a soulless society.

Because as far as I'm concerned,we are already there. People are desensitized to violence, death and what have you.

People step on those who are already down and crushed to get to where they want to be and what they want to get.

There's no mercy ouit there.

Haven't you heard the song 'ain't no love in the heart of the city'(reminds me of the aluu4) who we've forgotten so soon(I still cry when I remember them)

People get married and have relationships for what's in it for them and take a walk once it's not panning out according to their WANTS.
.........
Etc etc

I'm thinking we are there already.
You can still choose the life you want with the kind of person who shares your POV no matter what's happening around you.

Same thing happening in Japan. It has gotten worse that the birthrate of Japan has drastically reduced which is not good for the future of the economy of Japan. Because in the next 65yrs they tend to have more old people than younger ones, which is very bad for the economy to move forward. Japan government are now encouraging young people to get married. Most japanese love to remain single, while some are homosexuals and they love it like that.

this is the path to destruction. no matter how hard we wanna argue, it's not healthy that people are becoming so physically disconnected from each other. Sex with another person is a human need that produces feel-good hormones and helps people to function better in their daily lives.

concepts like chastity are becoming scarce
