In as long as the devil exist, juju exist also, but what i don't agree is the juju catch oyibo stuff, there is nothing like dat, the kind of nigerians that do juju are maybe the once who are not lucky enough to catch an oyibo that love them. so they try to manupulate things to bye oyibo heart.

This is a diabolical act and and it's temporary. My hubby is the most doubting Thomas Oyibo i ve ever seen although my best friend husband it's a n oyibo he doubt too and hate to hear that juju exist.

They will tell u that ppl who believe in juju lack knowlage grin

As for me no be every 9ja person dey do juju to get oyibo oooo,
as dem dey talk say benin girls dey do juju reach, one benin girl marry oyibo here, the girl dey suffer no be small, no be say her husband no dey work oo
but the oyibo na agbare oyibo, very stingy and self centered. if the girl know juju why the oyibo wicked like dat?? so juju na for 9jas wen sabi.

(laughing) I don't see why anyone would have to use JuJu to catch Oybino for marriage.

Every race of man has been with a white woman. So I sense that marrying white is an easy task, why use JuJu?
Re: Africans Abroad Using Juju To Catch Oyinbo For Marriage by LoveAlways(f): 3:06am On Nov 12, 2008
I saw a Nollywood movie once where a woman tried to use JuJu to hold the interest of her husband. The ritualist told her to wash her vaginal area and save the vaginal water for her husband's soup. -- *barfing*

But I know that's just a Nollywood movie. Who really does that kind of thing

Juju, voodoo does exist yes but using it to catch Oyinbo abroad is not correct cos abroad there are alot of oyinbo and people have chooses while in nigeria oyinbo is less and girls fight over it and some use juju to achieve there heart desire.

if u see any nigerian girl married to oyinbo for a long time and lives in naija she is definately using some juju on him to keep him or else another woman will take him away from her, sure some of them will never tell u they use it why some are very open with it and they dont care what people think and there oyinbo husbands or partner dont believe in Juju so they have no idea weither there wife or girlfriend are using it on them.

i was very shocked when i visited nigeria this year and heard what all my interracial girlfriends told me about girls competing with juju and who´s juju is more powerful wins a rich oyinbo and how they use it to make some girls mad just to snach there oyinbo boyfriend or husband from them shocked

Abroad some people not just girls use juju to achieve papers, marriage, money etc from oyinbo and there mama they prepare em for dem especially bini girls.

some people are just naturally lucky in meeting men and keeping a good relationship with oyinbo men while some dont and they go for what works best for them which is juju.

my younger sister told me about a bini girl she knows that uses juju on her husband for papers and money ,her husband is only 30 yrs old and she is 33 yrs old ,he paid off the girls madam fees and this girls openly told my sister that she renews it every 3 months shocked so yes it does exist but more in africa than abroad and i dont judge anyone that uses it cos its non of my business.

Please tell us when the juju will guarantee all countries lose to Nigeria in the World Cup so we can bring home the trophy.

Can you also tell me why hunters in rural Nigeria take guns to hunt? Why do they go through the trouble of laying down elaborate traps? Why not just use their "charm" to get as many animals as they want?

white men cant treat them like slave probably because oyinbo women have mastered the art of enslaving men

@ leilah, your life has to be a bundle of contradictions and confusions because you are supposedly married to one of those who treat women like slaves and it's not the first time you're doing it either. You said somewhere that you have had a few marriages

The trouble in my polygamous home, by a German who has spent 30 years in Nigeria
Written by Henry Umoru
Saturday, November 15, 2008
Polygamy is a crime in Europe. There, it is one man one wife. But Chief Rolf Schneider has spent almost 30 years in Nigeria. And one of the effects on him is that he is now a polygamist having married two wives in the country.

Chief Rolf Schneider:- white man

A German and the Managing Director/CEO, RoSuli Tech. Logistic and Support Services Limited, Schneider explains the reason behind his polygamy with Saturday Vanguard, his life in Nigeria, the country’s traditional system, the economy, judiciary, among other salient issues. Excerpts:

Your wife’s community gave you a title. May we know about her?

Well, I can say my wife came from a poor family. Her grandmother brought her up. My wife’s name is Suzy Ngozi, but she was brought up in your traditional way. My second wife had called her severally as village girl, but I am quite pleased and happy with that because she respects the husband, the rules in the husband’s house. She is a good wife to me.

How did you meet Ngozi?

I met her in a restaurant. She was a kitchen helper in Lagos. She was very young and I met her there and something built up.

And you are still together?

Of course. We have been married since 1985 and we are still together.

At what point did you consider having a second wife and what really happened?

The reason was that we were not having children. So, that was one of the reasons why I had to look for somebody. Her name is Felicia. I like her, the way she was behaving and she agreed to be a second wife.

She agreed to respect my first wife, and of course we married and I also showed her I meant it. She agreed to be wife with every consequence. My first wife was not really happy about it, she even threatened me that she would leave me, but her elders in the village and her mother really advised her and that she is not the first and the last that will get a second wife. Finally, she agreed to stay and we are happy because she helps me to take care of my children.

Did you marry Felicia in a traditional way?

Yes, I married her in her village in Benue State. I paid her dowry and we did all that was necessary to be done.

It was alleged that the marriage was on contract.

No, there was no contract. There was no any measurement of anything, I married her. I paid dowry and the village elders handed her over to me and they said to her then, ‘please follow your husband’. There was no contract

Where did you marry her and what year?

It was in her village in Makurdi, It was in 2006.

At what point did you actually fall out with Felicia? What really happened?

It started when she was pregnant. She was pregnant and I decided even before we married to bring her to my house. She was brought into the house. She was welcomed, but Felicia drastically changed. I made several complaints to her family members that she was fighting, making trouble, not doing her work as a wife.

They said it was because of the pregnancy that women behaved very funny. So, I put my hope on the time after the pregnancy. But it was coming from day to day, and more. It got to a point that when she delivered my children, the children were just two weeks, I called her from Germany and she was in the market and I asked her where are my children. She said she left them “with my mother.” I said how can you leave two weeks old children, she said “don’t worry my mother will take care of them”.

So, already Felicia started making trouble everyday. She would tell me that she won’t accept my house. She wants a house in Maitama, Asokoro and well furnished and she wanted a new car. She wanted a nanny for the children, a cook, a driver and N500,000 every month. Of course I said no, but she said ‘I will make trouble with you till you give me what I want’.

And she made everyday more terrible for me. At a certain point, she ran away with the children. I had to send the church people there to beg her to come back because the environment she stayed was not good.

After nearly two weeks, she came. In the house she was the queen, the steward would serve her. I must cook for her and her family. She brought people to this house. There were women visiting her. Things disappeared in this house.

When you tell her Felicia, I don’t want visitors in our bedroom, Felicia took visitors upstairs without any apologies. My expensive camera disappeared. You see people in your house, you don’t know who they are.

When you tell her all these, she will make trouble and the trouble got to an extent that she started fighting me physically in the presence of my stewards several occasions. I did not act because my mother trained me that I must not beat a woman,

Chief Rolf Schneider,Ezienyi II of Nkwoachara, Abia state.even at any slightest provocation. She used the children against me; she left them when they were sick. The boy nearly died. He was not eating, drinking. Felicia did not care about them. I was always thinking Felicia would realise she is my wife even when she had visited my village, seen my parents, sisters and brothers.

But reaching Germany, the first day Felicia arrived, seeing my 70-year old father first time, instead of kneeling down as my other wife does, Felicia just said, ‘hi, I am Felicia. Even my poor father was looking because Suzy used to kneel down as your women do.

But Felicia just said, ‘hi, I am Felicia’. She disgraced me so much in Germany that after that day I left. The village headmaster was telling me that he knows my other wife for over 25 years and he never believed what he heard in the newspapers in Germany about Nigeria and their women.

He said now I know what it means since he knew Felicia, the whole village said that is what we are seeing in TV and reading, now we see it naturally. My father told Felicia, don’t ever come to my house. But for Felicia to say grandfather, ‘forgive, she said, ‘ no problem, you will not see your grand children either, I will not bring them ever to Germany’.

It was there Felicia told me ‘if we arrived in Nigeria, I will not follow you to your house’. That she would go and stay with her people. , that I will not see the children again till they are 18. That made me to call a friend in Nigeria; he called the police people to the airport to escort us to the house.

The next day, Felicia was trying to pack her things and go with the children. I did not allow her. She said no. I told her, she will not go. In presence of the security and other people, she said if she could not leave this house with the children, the children would die in this house.

After she said that, I wrote a petition to the police and I called in a lawyer to put in a divorce because a mother cannot threaten to kill her own children but she repeated it severally. So the matter has gone to the court.

The first day I remembered, the justice said, ‘Felicia, in cases like this we always advise. You are the woman, you can at any time say please my husband forgive me.’ Felicia said forgive what?

Gradually Felicia had parked her things. I was served a court paper that Felicia has sued me for N130 million. I asked the man that brought the paper, where is the woman.

He said she is in her house in Kubwa. I said where in Kubwa? He said she has an address in Kubwa. I said I will not receive your paper. My lawyer received the paper. He said that is why she has left you. She cannot sue you for N130 million and live with you as a wife.

We checked the address and we found out that Felicia for the whole time married to me she has kept a secret house in Kubwa.

I started to investigate Felicia. Her mother will always insist I should not worry seeing any of their family members.

Till the day I paid dowry, I have not seen a single man from her family. She said her junior bother Harrison, who is just 20 years old, I should pay dowry to him. Can you imagine this? I said no, dowry will be paid to the elders. So, they were forced to bring me to the village and I found that they are not in good mood with the elders.

So, I realised that Felicia has actually used me. She was planning to get me because of money and in presence of her mother and pastor, Felicia was blaming her mother that she asked her to marry me and she will have money till we die. So, I was just married because of money and she did not even deny it in the court. She used the children to get money. Felicia has tried three times to remove the German citizenship from these children.

What is your relationship between you and the children? Where are the children at the moment?

For the moment, the children are in Germany for check-up. The boy has a small problem on his manhood and the girl has another problem in the neck. That is what they are trying to solve and truly, the children are getting a little bit rest. Now, they are happy and I am looking forward that the medical check up is over and they will be coming back to us. Everyday I cry not to have my children here.

Was there anytime you got across to the elders since the marriage was done in a traditional way when you started having problems with her?

I met the elders. I invited them to Abuja. We met in Rockview. I explained everything to them and to my biggest surprise, they were not surprised. They said yes, that is the way her mother behaved and her husband threw her out. I asked them why didn’t you tell me this when I came for marriage. They said they were thinking she was quiet now and all that.

I showed them the court document and the newspaper. I saw one of the brothers of her late father; I saw tears in his eye. He said why is she bringing shame to their village. I said there is no shame; you have done what you should have done. I am happy I can inform you. I told them the children are also their children and I promised I would take the best care of them.

After the judgment, have you been relating with her?

Yes, I tried to get close to her because of the children but Felicia has not stopped with her threats. She is insulting my other wife. She is calling her names. She is calling me names. She still tells people that I used her as a container to carry children.

She used a lot of lies to make trouble. I can show you somewhere she said she wanted to see me but I refused to see her. She said so: ‘You are afraid. You know I am beautiful, you cannot resist me.

Let my children get my attention’. She was calling my other wife a LovePeddler. I don’t understand her. If you want your children to see you as a good mother, then, you should behave as a good mother.

I have gone to her family and we have held meetings more than seven times. I have gone to her pastor. I have prayed, begged them that can you talk to that woman.

Felicia said your going to church would not change me. You cannot solve your own problem. She made trouble in the church all the time. Felicia is back in her former life, and one thing is missing – money. A man like me will believe strongly that family should be together.

What is your own impression about Nigerian women? Will you still love Nigerian women, the Nigerian judiciary, the security agencies and Nigeria itself?

I have one, I love her.

I said earlier, Nigeria is my own. Even in Germany, our prisons are so full that if you are a common thief, they will give you appointment in prison in five years, the prisons are so full. America has more death sentences than Nigeria. So, everywhere, you have bad people. You have good people.

I am here, I go hunting. I feel safe and very comfortable because from down to the bottom, Nigerian people are good people. You are helpful, you are friendly. Where there are bad people is for example Lagos.

There is nothing wrong, I love Nigeria. My lawyer told me at the beginning, he said Chief, we will not follow her blackmailing and her dirty work in newspapers, NTA. We will follow the legal way. He said I can promise you our judiciary will give you justice.

I am happy with the ruling of the court. I am happy that I am standing with all the pressure, all the bad publicity.

The outcome is that the custody of the children was given to me. I can make sure that the children will have a good future. They police have done their work, I like that. I am very, very pleased with it.

How did you come to Nigeria?

I came in originally to work for Siemens. I worked in Siemens International from there I joined Siemens Nigeria Limited and in 1985 I came to Abuja and built a company in Gwagwalada, Abuja. That is what I am doing up to date.

What businesses have you had in the country?

I was in charge of Warri, Benin, Kaduna for Siemens. Later Siemens Nigeria Limited started handling maintenance, administration, import, export, then coming to Abuja. I was the number two, and thereafter, I took over the affairs of the organisation.

You are said to be a chief in Nigeria. Which community made you a chief?

I got a chieftaincy title from my wife’s area in Abia State. My chieftaincy title is Ezienyi II of Nkwoachara, Abia state.

They gave me may be because I do good to them. I don’t know. If you get a chieftaincy title, it is hard not to take it. I got another one at Ohafia, where they call me Son of Ohafia; I got something also like chieftaincy title from Kwali also for outstanding work that I do in Kwali.

Having spent 29 years in Nigeria, what is your impression about the country, Nigeria and Nigerians?

You said already I have spent 29 years. Somebody who does not like Nigeria will leave it after three years, staying 29 years here means Nigeria is my home and I always said, I go on leave and I come back to Nigeria. Nigeria is my home.

Nigeria has a lot of advantages unlike those in what we call developed countries, especially the way you handle your family matter, the way you take care of your elders, your people generally, very friendly and your country is one of the greatest countries in Africa.

You have what other countries are looking for. You have rain forest, you have desert, you have middle belt, and you have everything. I am quite pleased and happy to be here and I am happy and pleased with my children.

If you have the opportunity to advise President Umaru Yar’Adua, having lived in Nigeria for so long, what would you tell him?

It is very difficult for a foreigner to advise a Nigerian. You have your own history, rules, regulations. You cannot adopt a system from a foreign country.

On my own, it is wrong to drive, to put Nigeria in any force they don’t know its history. You know yourself better and what is the best for you, so, to give advice is very hard for a foreigner.

I can see you are almost a Nigerian, do you believe in Nigerian democracy?

Well, democracy in Nigeria is not the same democracy that you have in Germany, America. I don’t know because they have different cultures from that of Nigeria.

In Nigeria, your traditional titleholders have a very, very strong stand and I believe it is very important to involve them in democracy as smooth democracy all over the world is run by the people.

You know that in Nigeria that an order from an Emir, Oba or an Eze is even higher than the court order. I think up to date, the influence from these traditional rulers is quite high.

That is why I say your own history, culture have to be bound together to make a solid democracy that will work
