Though the Ebola news is becoming stale lately, but I can't help but post this piece of interesting info. Most times we Nigerians write our country off almost in all facet of human endeavor, that Nigeria as a country isn't interested in R&.D but consumption. I was going through a thread about Iwu's research on Ebola and when I saw what some people commented there, I fought back a tear. The painful thing is that most of the comments aren't borne out of genuine and informed reasons but of bigotry ala crab mentality. We ridicule ourselves so much to the extent that everyone is afraid of trying anything new in order not to be a laughing stock. When the WHO labelled our Ebola vaccine a pesticide/food supplement, many people towed the same line and discredited the same all over the web. Thank God for Fashola, a visionary leader. I hope something good comes out of this research. 2 Likes |

Aside politics of religion, politics of tribe, politics of hatred and bitterness, this fashola of a man is unrivalled in visionary leadership. If APC can present a PROGRESSIVE HULK in d person of Fashola as it's presidential candidate, i'll reverse my choice of vote come 2015. 1 Like |
