Restlessness by definition is a disturbed uneasy state or the state of being bored. But restlessness can sometimes be an internal GPS that makes us uncomfortable and forces us to make the necessary changes to our career/life.

I believe restlessness can be a very good thing. It is our internal GPS trying to guide us to pay attention to something that is not working in our life.

Have you been restless in your current job or business dealing for a while now? You just feel uncomfortable, you feel you could be doing something else, you are so restless that sometimes you think you are not giving your best. Most likely your restlessness is a result of your internal GPS telling you it is time for a change, the current path you are on is not fulfilling; it just might need an adjustment or a total change. It is not aligned with your calling hence the restlessness. Your internal GPS wants you to take a right turn and you are still at the stop sign, so it makes you restless so you can act.

Stop fighting yourself, stop doubting your abilities, and stop making excuses. It is okay, you are not crazy, and your restlessness just wants you to rise up to the change that is needed in your career/life.

So next time you get restless, be still and listen to the cradle of your soul for the message it wants you to pay attention to.
