Dear patriots, I must use this medium to congratulate Nigerians on the celebration of her 54th Independence Day celebration.
This is not a moment for writing epistles, but going through a beautiful threat has left me with a big question....Was our Independence premature? What are the gains of independence so far?
Going through this thread https://www.nairaland.com/1927799/rare-powerful-photos-nigerias-history , I feel those of us in this generations are unfortunate because Nigeria of 54years ago is far better than the Nigeria we are today. but my prayer is that Nigeria of tomorrow will even be better and greater than today and 54 years ago.

N.B. The pic below was taken during World War II, I noticed there were already electric poles at that time provided probably by our colonial masters (most of which are still in use today). Why are we still in darkness.
