PS: A fullstop after an alphabet means there's a dot underneath the alphabet differentiating it from the similar alphabet before it

There's a central Igbo known as Igbo Nzugbe.. That's the igbo used in writing all igbo textbooks and for teaching in classrooms.

yep...and that izugbe is standard Igbo
when they started newly they called it central Igbo kos its based on the owerri and umuahia dialects.
but when they needed to expand the vocabulary, they saw that the 2 dialects couldn't provide the needed vocab so they had to move to other dialects to incorporate words not found in these 2 dialects. so from ikwerre to ika to nsuka to aro,even from opobo and bonny they took words to expand our vocabulary that's why they called it izugbe meaning Igbo common to all or standard Igbo.
