Despite the fact that the world's population today is far greater than it was in the time of the early Church, it is also as much a fact that we have much better chances and avenues for reaching souls than they did. Today, we can easily move from one place to another with all forms and means: by road, rail, sea and even air. We've got so many media of communication through which we can easily send messages and communicate with people thousands of miles away.

Today, with the advent of computers and other information technologies, information spreads in milliseconds and ideas can be distributed across the entire globe by simply sitting in front of a screen and punching a few buttons in the comfort of your home.

The early Church could only communicate via letters, then called 'epistles' which would oftentimes take weeks and even months to be delivered. The apostles and followers of Christ in those days had to walk for hundreds and maybe thousands of miles to preach the Gospel while facing manifold dangers, persecutions, perils and sufferings which they bore as a result of the times in which they lived.

Even in the time of the revivalists of the seventeenth and eighteenth century, these barriers though much less were still in existence. Men like John Wesley traveled miles on foot and boat or ship all across Europe spreading the Gospel. Others like Charles Wesley faced grave dangers to preach the Gospel.Today, things are much easiest least in most places. I am preaching the Gospel with this blog right now and I'm doing it undisturbed. If today's Church fails Christ, we'd have no excuse to give to Him at the Judgement Seat.

With this explosive developments and advancements the world has undergone in recent times, believers are faced with so many opportunities and mission platforms that if harnessed to full potential will result in the evangelism of the entire globe in no time.

We must be more shrewd that the children of the world system. This world system orchestrated by the accuser of the brethren and his cohorts have taken control over some vital and influential aspects or public attention today such as the arts, media, sports, science, politics, business and so on. If believers must win this war, because that's what it is - we're fighting for our Father's kingdom - we must base our battle strategies on platforms like these.

Believers must awaken to God's call for commitment in these times. We must invade the social networks and redeem the souls of men, we must delve into the arts (music, film industries, print media, etc.) and colonize these territories for God,we must enter the media and turn hearts and minds off individuals to the kingdom, we must raise entertainment champions in sports and other such fields with kingdom principles who will draw men's eyes to Christ.

We must disciple and train scientists who will invent and discover the wonders of God's creation which the world has never seen by applying God's principles, we must bring forth to business frontiers, great men who will teach Kingdom values and lifestyle while prospering with God's principles. We must write and scribble down eternal truths not just on paper but on the hearts of men well engraved that they'll become unforgettable.

Finally, we must also raise men in the forefront of politics and government who as dynamic leaders will take cities, nations, territories and continents of the kingdom of God. Beloved, I put it to you that we are in the last days of this age and we are the hope of our Father's kingdom. We must take up the challenge and we must MAKE GOD FAMOUS! smiley smiley wink wink
