No, not everyone must stick to their own culture. Nobody can force me to ONLY eat Nigerian food. i don't remember ever saying a traditional african wedding is invalid, but in the more developed society we are living in there are a lot of complications that may come with having only a african traditional wedding. There are many loopholes and they are mostly to the disadvantage of the woman and the children, where the husband dies or divorces his wife. Hence people have resorted to having both the customary and civil marriage.
