This trend is created for teaching ourself about the right message of the Prophet MUHAMMAD and also based on the understanding of the Salaf and the right guided Scholars. May Allaah swt accept it from us as an act of Ibadaah
Re: Learn About Your Deen (quran Wa Sunnah) by doc9ja: 7:11am On Oct 06, 2014
AN IMPORTANT LESSON WE NEED TO LEARN AS WE CELEBRATE 'EID EL ADHA. We thank Almighty Allah, we praise Him and we adore Him. We bear
testimony that Allah is One; He has no partners and He has no associates.
We equally testify that our leader, Muhammad, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam is
Allah's Messenger and His Apostle. May Allah shower His abundant blessings
upon the Prophet, his household; companions and those who follow his
footsteps until the Day of Resurrection. One of the most important lessons we need to learn from Eid el Adha is that
the meat of the animals we sacrificed and their blood does not mean anything
to Allah. What He wants to get out of it is the piety that results from our
obedience to His directives and the directives of His Messenger, sollaLohu
'alaihi wasallam regarding the 'eid and other divine obligations. So, as you
celebrate this 'eid, always remember your obligations to worship Allah accordingly and follow the Sunnah of His Messenger, sollaLohu 'alaihi
wasallam in all your endeavors. The animals we slaughter do not find it easy when we slaughter them. As we
obey Allah by slaughtering them; they also obey Allah by submitting
themselves for the sacrifice. I once read an hadith where the Prophet,
sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam was reported to have said that Allah would deal with
everyone justly on the Day of Judgment. Even the horned animals that
attacked another animal unjustly in this world would be given the opportunity to take its revenge before Allah orders them to turn to sand or dust. There are
authentic narrations recorded from Abu Hurayrah, `Abdullah bin `Amr, and
others, rodhiyaLohu 'ahum concerning this. Indeed, Allah has perfected the human beings and gave them honours over
and above other creatures. He made animals for us to eat and enjoy. He
created the plants and water that we eat and drink. As human beings, we
must not take this honour for granted. We must take it to be al-amaanah
(trust) that we have taken upon ourselves as Allah mentioned at the tail end of
Suratul Ahzaab (Q33:72). To be continued

The Concluding part
There is no gain saying in the fact that on the Day of judgment, some human
beings would be worse than animals because after all, animals would not enter
hell and they will not enter Aljannah. On that Day, those who refuse to
embrace Islam, those who deny the Last Day (and many other signs of Allah)
and those who toy with their deen by neglecting the true message of the
Qur'an and the Sunnah would prefer to become sand than to enter hell. SubhanaLah! In some very familiar verses of the Qur'an, Allah says; ﺫَٰﻟِﻚَ ﺍﻟْﻴَﻮْﻡُ ﺍﻟْﺤَﻖُّ ۖ ﻓَﻤَﻦْ ﺷَﺎﺀَ ﺍﺗَّﺨَﺬَ ﺇِﻟَﻰٰ ﺭَﺑِّﻪِ ﻣَﺂﺑًﺎ ; ﺇﻧَّﺎ ﺃَﻧْﺬَﺭْﻧَﺎﻛُﻢْ ﻋَﺬَﺍﺑًﺎ ﻗَﺮِﻳﺒًﺎ ﻳَﻮْﻡَ ﻳَﻨْﻈُﺮُ ﺍﻟْﻤَﺮْﺀُ ﻣَﺎ ﻗَﺪَّﻣَﺖْ ﻳَﺪَﺍﻩُ ﻭَﻳَﻘُﻮﻝُ
ﺍﻟْﻜَﺎﻓِﺮُ ﻳَﺎ ﻟَﻴْﺘَﻨِﻲ ﻛُﻨْﺖُ ﺗُﺮَﺍﺑﺎً "That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return.
Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man
will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I
wish that I were dust!" [Q78:39-40] So, as we celebrate and slaughter these Rams and other animals; we must
also sacrifice our bad deeds for good deeds. We should abandon all acts that
would make all the animals we slaughter better than us on the Day of
Judgment. We must avoid all actions that can put us in the state of wishing
that Allah makes us dust just to escape hell-fire. Of course this wish would
not be granted because Allah, subhahu wata'ala has promised that hell-fire would be flamed by human beings and stones (Q66:6). Very importantly, we should use this period of 'eid to further call the non-
Muslims in our family, environment and places of work to embrace Islam and
let them know the consequences of dying upon a path other than Islam. It is
not part of the Sunnah to neglect the calling of non-Muslims to Islam with
wisdom and pleasant words. We should not equally relent in our efforts
towards calling our Muslim brothers and sisters to the proper 'aqeedah and manhaj. We must keep encouraging goodness and forbid evils. When Ibn
Katheer, rohimahuLoh was explaining Verse 40 of Suratun Naba': he said; "It has been said that he will only wish for that when Allah passes judgement
between all of the animals that were in the worldly life. He will rectify matters
between them with His just wisdom that does not wrong anyone. Even the
hornless sheep will be allowed to avenge itself against the sheep with horns.
Then, when the judgement between them is finished, He (Allah) will say to
them (the animals), "Be dust.'' So they will all become dust. Upon witnessing this, the disbeliever will say: Wish that I were dust! meaning, `I wish I was an
animal so that I would be returned to dust.'" We pray Allah illuminate our mind towards His words and the Sunnah of the
Prophet, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam. May Allah spare ourlives to witness many
more eid on earth with sound health. May He save us from the torments of the
hell-fire.

NO MUSLIM WOULD ENTER HELL, EXCEPT THOSE WHO INSIST.
There are many Islamic injunctions that shows that: in the real sense of it, the
hell fire is not created for the Muslims and the obedient servants of Allah. The
hell is created for the thugs who resists Allah's calls towards guidance and
salvation in this world and the hereafter. Any Muslim who finds him or herself
in hell would not blame Allah and His Apostle, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam. He
or she would only have him or herself to blame for failing to utilize several opportunities provided for us.
There is no benefits that Allah gave to the pious
predecessors that He did not give to us, the later generations. But many of us
are just unserious. Apart from the fact that Allah gave us Islam free of charge,
He gave us numerous escape routes that would lead us to aljannah. Yet, we
joke with them and Angel of death can knock at any given time. So, let us seek for proper knowledge of Islam and mind what we do afterwards. In a relevant hadith; Abu Huraira, rodhiyaLohu 'anh, the Messenger of Allah,
peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Everyone from my nation will enter Paradise except those who refuse. ” They
said, “O Messenger of Allah, who will refuse?” The Prophet said, “ Whoever
obeys me enters Paradise and whoever disobeys me has refused.” [Source:

Assalam alykum, we thank Allaah for counting us among those that see the light of today not as ordinary person but as a Muslim... Our topic of admonition this morning is BEWARE OF FAKE SCHOLARS
Re: Learn About Your Deen (quran Wa Sunnah) by doc9ja: 8:50am On Oct 07, 2014
BEWARE OF FAKE SCHOLARS!

The case of a Doctor who negligently kill a patient is not as serious as the case
of one who assumes the role of an Islamic cleric offering careless and reckless
fataawa (pieces of Islamic legal advise) without proper knowledge, which in turn
leads people towards shirk, bid'ah and grievous sins. If the patient negligently killed by a Doctor dies upon sound creed, Allah may
forgive his other sins and accept him into His mercies. But anyone who ends up
his life with the greatest offence in sight of Allah (shirk) will find it difficult to
meet Allah's Rahmah. Allah says Suratu Muhammad: ﺇِﻥَّ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻛَﻔَﺮُﻭﺍ ﻭَﺻَﺪُّﻭﺍ ﻋَﻦْ ﺳَﺒِﻴﻞِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺛُﻢَّ ﻣَﺎﺗُﻮﺍ ﻭَﻫُﻢْ ﻛُﻔَّﺎﺭٌ ﻓَﻠَﻦْ ﻳَﻐْﻔِﺮَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﻟَﻬُﻢْ "Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and
then died while they were disbelievers - never will Allah forgive them" [Q47:34] So, this is not a joke. Let us distance ourselves from shirk (in words, actions,
gestures) and many other vices Allah and His Apostle warn us about. It is
obligatory upon us to stay away from anything the scholars rule to be shirk. May Allah grant us long life with sound health, pure wealth and accept us into
His mercies.

WHO IS A SCHOLAR? Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem The word "scholar" or "sheikh" in the context of the shari'ah are one of the most
misused words in our contemporary society.
Scholarship in this context is not determined by cap, Jalabia, Turban or Alkinba
or eloquence in Arabic language. It is far beyond that. Not all Arabs are Muslims
and not all Muslim Arabs or linguists are learned in Islamic law. It is dangerous
and very sensitive to use persons that are not qualified as scholars as reference in matters of the deen. It is better for a person to be rejected for what he is than
for him to be honoured or regarded with what he is not. The question of who a scholar in the context of the shari'ah is, should not
ordinarily create any confusion whatsoever. But due to the kind of environment
we find ourselves today, the clarification of who a scholar is becomes
fundamentally imperative.
For instance, if a brother starts using a cap or any attire that resembles that of
the scholars who imitate the Messenger of Allah, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam in their manners of dressing, people would usually take him to be an Alfa even if he
does not have the kind of knowledge a scholar is expected to have in this deen.
When such a person is called Alfa, he would know deep in his mind that he is
not qualified to be an Alfa in the context of the shari'ah. It is just like someone
who dress like a doctor on the street. Even if people call him "doctor", he knows
he is not. If the person you are lying to does not know you are lying, you yourself should know you are a liar. Similarly, some people are taken to be scholars just because they can speak
fluent arabic. It is important to point out that arabic language is one of the
preliminary conditions towards Islamic scholarship. However, arabic language is
just one of the numerous tools that helps the fuqaha in deducing acceptable
ahkaam as-shar'iah. The scholars of Islamic jurisprudence have laid down a
number of principles to be followed in the course of interpreting the evidences of shari'ah (Quran and Sunnah) depending on the circusmstance of each case.
Anything that falls short of the standard set by the scholars of usul al-fiqh shall
be rejected. The office of the scholars of the deen is the most disrespected in the world
today. I say this with all sense of responsibility. All the antics we cannot try with
the medical, engineering and legal professions, we try them with the scholars of
the deen. Can anyone claim to be a Lawyer in Nigeria without passing out of the
Nigerian Law School? But in the case of Islamic scholarship, every dick and
harry would claim sheikhship. It is important for us to note that the most respectable and reputable profession
in this life and the hereafter is the office of the fuqaha. We must begin to show
some level of respect. If we are sick, we take ourselves to the doctors. If we are
troubled, we go to the lawyers. But when it comes to the matters of the deen, we
all argue with scholars because of our little knowledge of IRS. All this must stop
for Allah's sake. Interpretation of the daleel as-shari'y must not contradict the position of the
Sohaabah, rodhiyaLohu 'anhum who witnessed the revelations of the Quran and
recorded the interpretations (hadiths) given by the Messenger of Allah, sollaLohu
alaihi wasallam. When Aisha, rodhiyaLohu anha was asked the behavior of the
Prophet, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam, she simply answered the Quran is his
behaviour. This simply means that the Prophet is a walking Quran. If this is the case, how can we validly interpret the Quran if we neglect the opinions of those
who saw, met, related and lived with the walking Quran? In this present time, we now have among those whom we call scholars who use
their ra'y (intellect) solely to determine the meaning of the provisions of Quran
and Sunnah. Qiyas is only acceptable when the nass as-shariah in a given
circumstance is not clear enough. And even in this case, the qiyas cannot be
given independently. It must be tied with the closest evidence from kitab wa
sunnah. And we must note that it is not every persons that can give ruling based on qiyas. That liberty is reserved for scholars who have distinguished
themselves in knowledge, understanding, guidance and character. Go and read
the stories of the Sohaabah. Read those of Imams Maliki, shafi'i, Hannafi and
Hambali. Don't forget to go through the biographies of Sheikh Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn
Qoyyim Al-jaoziyyah,, Uthaymeen, Nasruddeen Albaaniy etc. If we know what it takes to be a Sheikh in the shari'ah, most of the so called
scholars in our contemporary time have not even attained the status of being
students of knowledge. A student of knowledge would not believe he knows
everything. A student of knowledge would always take corrections where
necessary. He would not stand upon his errors ignorantly and arrogantly. Those who are not competent to make fataawah would use their qiyas
irrationally. It is a misuse of qiyas to say hijab is arabian culture. It is a wrong
qiyas to think a woman can lead any group of competent men from the shari'ah
point of view. There are many of those we call scholars today who find pleasure
in condemning the sunnah and its people. They hate the Ahlu Sunnah with
passion. They hate the people of sunnah more than they hate the Christians and the Jews. When you call for unity upon Quran and Sunnah, they would say,
"their wahala is too much". They see the people of sunnah as a threat to their
defective aqeedah and deviant path. Some people claim 'imul baatil (hidden knowledge) and they will interpret the
Quran based on it even if it clearly contradicts what we learn from the Salaf
saalih. What would be your reaction if you are informed that one of those people
regard as scholars said Suratul Faatiha is "ifa inu tira" (Oracle of the Quran).
When he was called to explain what he meant, he was not able to defend it or
give good account of himself. The audio is everywhere now. You can listen to it and see what we are talking about. It means that this kind of people just climb
the podium and say whatever they like without an atom of daleel. The most
unfortunate thing is that these kind of people have large followership that they
lead astray. It is in this part of the world that most people attend arabic schools not because
they want to contribute their quota to the advancement of the cause of the
orthodox teachings of the Messenger of Allah, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam, but to
confuse and brainwash their ignorant followers. As far back as when we were younger than this, we used to hear our fathers
praying Allah to quench the light of pagan practices, raise the status of the
sunnah of the Prophet, peace be upon him and lower the status of bid'ah in our
society. It is however unfortunate that those who are expected to promote the
image of the sunnah are the ones relegating the status of the sunnah. They are
openly and unequivocally advancing the cause of bid'ah and kufr. This class of people can go to any length in defence of their heretical doctrines. In the light of this, can we categorize anyone who specializes in bid'ah and sihr
among the shuyukh of this deen? Some of those we refer to as scholars
validates all kinds of sihr (fettish practices). They can burn anything to acquire
wealth. They preach the love of money and this ephemeral world to people. They
urge their followers to search for wealth at all cost. Is money one of the a criteria
for identifying a scholar? Was the Prophet, sollaLohu alaihi wasallam a wealthy man? This article is primarily meant to caution us on the kind of lectures we listen to.
We should know the kinds of books we read. There are numerous virus carriers
among those we call scholars. It takes a Muslim with strong anti virus to identify
viruses in the lectures of the people of bid'ah. To be on the safe side, it is even
better not to listen to them at all because they can easily corrupt your memory. The scholars of the deen are not difficult to identify. They stick to Quran and
Sunnah in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf As-saalih. They do not
utter from their desire nor do they rely on the opinions of people of ra'y (personal
view). They do not request for money before they attend lectures. They have
their own personal jobs to make ends meet. They don't beg to pray for people.
They give lectures to please Allah Alone. They don't expect anyone to praise them. They are not arrogant. They respect the constituted authorities. They dont
walk or talk with pride. They conclude their views with "Wallohu A'lam" (and
Allah knows best). They don't think they know everything. They don't believe
that they cannot make mistakes. They usually say if their opinion contravenes
any clear shari'ah ruling, their opinion should be dropped. The Quran says; "innama yakhshaLohu min 'ibaadihil 'ulamaa" (the most conscious of Allah
among His worshippers are the scholars) Anyone who claims "sheikhship" is a liar if there are no signs of consciousness
of Allah in him. One of the best signs of Allah's consciousness is obedience to
dictates of Allah and His Messenger, sollaLohu alaihi wasallam. A scholar would
not differentiate between the Quran and authentic sunnah. A scholar would
always practice what he preaches. A person who calls himself "an entertainer"
cannot be a scholar. The Quran and Sunnah are not for entertaiments. They are matters of serious business. The title "Sheikh" is not for comedians. A scholar must be upon proper taoheed, 'aqeedah and manhaj. A person whom
everyone know is not upon the sunnah cannot claim scholarship in Islam. The
matters of the ummah cannot be entrusted in them. In otherwords, no matter
upon which fatwa is required can be directed to him for adjudication. May Allah guide us aright.

Hadith Qudsi (Sacred hadith)
Allah's Messenger said that Allah said: He who
comes with a good deed, its reward will be ten like
that or even more. And he who comes with vice, his
reward will be only one like that, or I can forgive him.
He who draws close to Me a hand's span, I will draw
close to him an arm's length. And whoever draws near Me an arm's length, I will draw
near him a fathom's length. And whoever comes to
Me walking, I will go to
him running. And whoever faces Me with sins nearly
as great as the earth, I will meet him with forgiveness
nearly as great as that, provided he does not worship something with me.

STOP THE PROPAGANDA AGAINST THE SUNNAH.

Some Muslim parents don't want to hear the word "Sunnah" just because some
ignorant people have poisoned their minds towards the thought that the "Ahlu
Sunnah" are trained to be rude and disrespectful. SubhanaLah! AlhamduliLah, in the contrary, it is the Sunnah that taught us our responsibilities
towards our parents without mixing it up with the rights of Allah and that of His
Messenger, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam. And as we are children for our parents;
our parents too are children of some people. We also have or aspire to have
children too. So, how would anyone think we would join a cause that promotes
rudeness and arrogance against parents and the elders. The Sunnah teaches the best manners and conducts towards the parents and all kinds of people. Even
those who harms or attempt to harm you should not be harmed. This is evident in
many hadiths of the Prophet, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam. So, why the propaganda
against the Sunnah and its people? As for the antagonists of the Sunnah who claim to be scholars, I wonder what
you are scholar upon if the Sunnah is what you attack all the time. In the case of
parents who are misled about the Sunnah, there wouldn't be any excuse in this
regard on the Day of Judgment. It is better to seek proper knowledge about the
Sunnah before condemning any aspect of it. Islam is the Sunnah and the Sunnah
is Islam. There is a big problem with your faith if you fail to understand Islam in this manner. The truth cannot be changed. The sunnah remains the truth forever no matter
how much people try to paint it with falsehood. And if you paint falsehood with
the truth; it would be exposed later. The more they paint Islam bad; the more
non-Muslims accept Islam. The more they paint the Sunnah bad; the more
people understand the place of Sunnah in Islam. The people of bid'ah are turning
parents against their children who are practicing the Sunnah just because of their ignorance and what they would eat. May Allah grant us better understanding of Islam so that we would not be misled
by the ignorant ones.

Your Deeds must be done "LiLlaahi" and not "Lillaahi warosuulihi" to avoid
"Shirk".

All perfect adorations and praise be to Allaah Jalla wa 'alaa; We testify that None
is worthy of worship except Him(Laa ma'abuuda bi-haqqin illaa Allaah) and We
testify that Muhammad is His Last Messenger('alayhi ssolaatu ssalaam). Many of muslims especially the Muslim Students Society are often seen writing
a slogan Lillaahi warosuulihi(For the Sake of Allaah and His Prophet). However; we must all understand that any act of worship done for other than the
sake of Allaah or done for the sake of Allaah together with the sake of mankind
will never be accepted by Allaah azza wajal. As this is tantamount to taking
partners with Allaah in that act of worship. Da'awah is an act of 'ibaadah and it must be done for the sake of Allaah ALONE
else Allaah will never accept it. Al-Imaam Aboo Zakariyya Ibn Yahya An-nawawee explained when commenting
on the first hadeeth in His Arba'eena An-nawawee that: A slave when performing his 'ibaadaat must be wary of riyaa(show-off) as it
indeed destroys an act of worship. He(rahimahuLlaah) said: Ar-riyaa is divided
into two: 1. Desiring mankind(I.e their praise and love) and not obedience to Allaah in his
acts of worship. Ash-shaykh Duktuur Aboo AbdiLlaah Saalih bn Fawzaan Al-fawzaan said: this is
shirk akbaar(greater shirk) and it is called riyaaul munaafiqeen as such people's
hearts does not contain any eemaan so they do not desire Allaah's obedience but
people's praise and love in their 'ibaadaat. So their worship is for mankind and not
for Allaah azza wajal. 2. Desiring obedience to Allaah together with Mankind. This action also destroys the deeds of whoever falls into it as Allaah detest
taking partners with Him in our 'ibaadaat. Ash-shaykh Saalih Al-Fawzaan(rahi
mahuLlaah) said: this is shirk asghor(lesser shirk) and it is called riyaahul
mu'mineen. As indeed such individual in the basis of that act of worship desires
obedience to Allaah but shaytaan then overcomes him while performing the
'ibaadat and infects him/her riyaa' or sum'aa. Unlike the riyaa of the munaafiqoon in which the doer of the act of worship does not desire Allaah at all in the basis of
the 'ibaadah but rather desires mankind. So there is no eemaan in their heart. Allaah says in suuratu Nnisaa Verse 142 that: "Indeed the munaafiqoon(the hypocrite) decieve Allaah and Allaah decieves
them; and when they stand up for solaat, they stand up lazy as show-off to
mankind; and they do not remember Allaah except little." Al-Imaam Aboo AbdiLlaah Al-Bukhaari and Al-Imaam Aboo Al-Husayn Muslim Al-
Hajjaaj reported in their saheeh that the Prophet(alayhi ssolaatu wassalaam) said: "What I fear most for you is shirkul Asghor; they asked: What is Shirkul Asghor?
He said: Ar-riyaa' ". And If the Prophet feared Ar-riyaa for His Companions whom Allaah had given
trademark regarding their 'ibaadaat; then what of those us who came after them". In the hadeeth of Aboo Hurayrah; the Prophet(sollaLlahu 'alayhi wasallam) said:
Allaah says: "I am superior to every other thing people take as partners with me;
so whosoever performs an act of worship and takes partner with me, other than
me in it(the act of worship); I will abandone him and his shirk. SubhaanaLlaah! Indeed Allaah never accept the deeds of a slave until it is done
for His sake Alone. So we should abandone the statement of Lillaahi warosuulihi in our 'ibaadaat as
this statement is tantamount shirk as explained above. And Allaah is the granter of success.

If you are a Muslim and you feel bad anytime
someone says to you: Allah, subhanahu wata'ala
says or the Prophet, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam says;
you are suffering from a serious dangerous disease of
the mind and you need a very urgent spiritual
attention before it is too late. A wise Muslim should ordinarily be glad to hear the provisions of the Qur'an
and Sunnah at any point in time. It has been sufficiently confirmed that what often
creates hatred for the remembrance of Allah in many
people's mind are addiction towards music, acts of
indecency and bad company. Some people think their
sins are so much to the extent that Allah cannot have
mercy on them again. This erroneous believe takes them far away from the remembrance of Allah. The
only solution to our problems is sincere repentance. If
you run away from Allah, where else would you run
to? May Allah, subhanahu wata'ala include us among the
real lovers of His words and the words of His
Messenger, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam.

Q: Is it permissible for a boy to sleep with his mother and his sister if he has reached the age of puberty?

A: It is not permissible for boys who have reached the age of puberty or ten years of age to sleep with their mothers or their sisters in the same bed, out of protection of honors, to keep away from Fitnah (temptation) and block the means leading to sin. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked us to separate the beds of boys and girls when they reach the age of ten in his saying:

Command your children to offer Salah (Prayer) when they become seven years old; beat them for (neglecting) it when they become ten years old; and arrange their beds (to sleep) separately.

As for those who have not reached the age of puberty yet, they are asked to take permission when entering the rooms three times when people put on light clothes and `Awrah (parts of the body that must be covered in public) most probably could be revealed.

Allah (Exalted be He) says:

O you who believe! Let your slaves and slave-girls, and those among you who have not come to the age of puberty ask your permission (before they come to your presence) on three occasions: before Fajr (morning) Salât (prayer), and while you put off your clothes for the noonday (rest), and after the ‘Ishâ’ (late-night) Salât (prayer). (These) three times are of privacy for you; other than these times there is no sin on you or on them to move about, attending to each other. Thus Allâh makes clear the Ayât (the Verses of this Qur’ân, showing proofs for the legal aspects of permission for visits) to you. And Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise. [Surah Al-Nur, 24: 58]

Those who have reached the age of puberty are required to take permission at all times.

Allah (Exalted be He) says:

And when the children among you come to puberty, then let them (also) ask for permission, as those senior to them (in age). Thus Allâh makes clear His Ayât (Commandments and legal obligations) for you. And Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise. [Surah Al-Nur, 24: 59]

All this is for the purpose of keeping away Fitnah, protecting honors and eliminating the means leading to evil.

As for boys who are less than ten years old, it is permissible for them to sleep with their mothers and sisters in their beds, as they need care and to remove hardship. However, if there is no fear of Fitnah, it is permissible for them to sleep in the same room, even if they are adults, but each one on a separate bed.
May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions

WHO IS A SALAFIY. ?

Succinctly put, a person who subscribes to the
mentality or ideologies of the salaf is a salafiy. Now,
who are the salaf? The salaf are those who precede
us in the knowledge, understanding and practice of
Islam as taught and implemented by the Prophet,
sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam. Please note that when we say "salaf", we do not mean the companions,
rodhiyaLohu 'anhum alone. Those who followed their
footsteps strictly that we normally call "the taabi'een",
the followers of the taabi'een and those who follow
their path among the scholars up to the present day
are salaf to us. So, why do some people pretend not to understand this simple logic? See Q9:100 It is pertinent to note that; anyone who does not love
knowledge would not seek it. Anyone does not seek
knowledge would not get it. Anyone who seek
knowledge from the wrong sources would get wrong
knowledge. Anyone who does not have the correct
knowledge cannot practice the deen properly. Anyone who has the correct knowledge and practice it cannot
benefit with it except with ikhlas (sincerity). That is, it
must not be for the purpose of pleasing anyone
except Allah. A lot of people who leave the path of the salaf fall into
one of the above pits or the other and they think they
are still on the right track. Some people did a lot of
injustices to their own soul by hating knowledge of
the deen. They are only after any knowledge that
would put food on their table or that which would make them live a luxurious life. They don't care about
the hereafter. Some people's 'aqeedah were damaged
as a result of seeking knowledge through the wrong
channel. They were fed with dangerous beliefs that
are directly or indirectly opposite the Sunnah of the
Messenger, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam. Some of those who got knowledge through the proper channel
could not control their minds. They become arrogant
and materialistic till they lost their sincerity
completely What bothers one's mind most is: what if the Prophet,
sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam did not leave warnings that
we should stick to his Sunnah and the Sunnah of his
companions? You would give some people clear
evidences to show what they are doing is against the
Sunnah and understanding of the companions, rodhiyaLohu 'an hum and they would still insist on it.
The Messenger of Allah had warn us about this kind
of people in an hadith reported by Abu Hurairah,
rodhiyaLohu 'anhu: ﻋﻦ ﺃﺑﻲ ﻫﺮﻳﺮﺓ - ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ - ﻗﺎﻝ : ﻗﺎﻝ ﺭﺳﻮﻝ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ - ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ " : - ﻳﻜﻮﻥ ﻓﻲ ﺁﺧﺮ ﺍﻟﺰﻣﺎﻥ ﺩﺟﺎﻟﻮﻥ ﻛﺬﺍﺑﻮﻥ ﻳﺄﺗﻮﻧﻜﻢ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻷﺣﺎﺩﻳﺚ ﺑﻤﺎ ﻟﻢ ﺗﺴﻤﻌﻮﺍ ﺃﻧﺘﻢ ﻭﻻ ﺁﺑﺎﺅﻛﻢ ، ﻓﺈﻳﺎﻛﻢ ﻭﺇﻳﺎﻫﻢ ، ﻻ ﻳﻀﻠﻮﻧﻜﻢ ﻭﻻ ﻳﻔﺘﻨﻮﻧﻜﻢ . "
ﺭﻭﺍﻩ ﻣﺴﻠﻢ . "In the latter days there will be impostors, liars, who
will come to you with stories which you have never
heard, neither you nor your forefathers. Beware then,
beware! Let them not lead you astray, nor let them
put you into trouble." (Muslim) Such is the case of the sufis who says Allah has
Gaozu, Abdaal, Aktaab on earth who assist Allah in
His work. This is unknown to the salafs. They
invented the doctrine of wahdatu wujuud without
justification from the Qur'an and Sunnah. The
Tijaaniyyahs invented Solaatul Faatih and claim its greater than the Qur'an. They are telling so many lies
against Allah and His Apostle. The Shi'as
discriminate against some exalted companions of the
Prophet, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam. The Ahmadees
believe Ghulam Ahmad is a Prophet of Allah. The
various sects have their unique characteristics which makes them different from the real ummah
established by the Apostle of Allah, sollaLohu 'alaihi
wasallam. Apart from the sects; there are some
organizations today who have constitutions that do
not pass the validity test of the Qur'an and Sunnah.
So, we must be very careful. If you leave this path of Islam specifically prescribed
by the Prophet, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam for another
thing; there may be problem. And there is no way you
would pretend to be a salafiy that Allah would not
expose you. He would expose you by the kinds of
things you do, the kinds of words you utter and the kinds of ideology you promote. Once you talk or act,
the people of knowledge would tell you where you
belong except you don't know the implications of your
words or action. So, it is very hard to find the fake
salafis escaping the jarh wa ta'deel of the scholars
because they are people whose objective is to destroy the manhaj salaf from within. This is the main reason why we would continue to
say: don't break the chain. There are some people
who parade themselves as scholars today (even
among those who claim to be part of ahlu Sunnah)
who think they can stand on a point that the salaf do
not know about. They postulate several doctrines that are alien to the beliefs and practice of the pious
predecessors. They make takfeer of people
indiscriminately without proper justification. They
even go to the extent of making takfeer of some of
the past scholars without adequate research. Once
you do not agree with them on some specific masaa'il, they would just throw you out of Islam even
if you give them credible evidence. We must beware
of these kind of people. May Allah count us among the real followers of the
salaf as saalih.

WE ARE IN A TIME OF FITNAH.....

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Brothers and sisters in Islam, we are in a world when it is hard to practice Islam
in the real manner as practiced by the Prophet, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam and his
companions, rodhiyaLohu 'anhum. Anyone who attempts to practice Islam
properly according to the Sunnah and the understanding of the salaf are being
criticized, victimized and called so many names. We are in a time of fitnah when if you try your best to place Islam first in any of
your thoughts and activities; people see you as an extremist, a fanatic or a
fundamentalist etc. We are in a time when having beards and wearing nisfu saq as directed by the
Prophet, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam is termed extremism, pride and arrogance. We are in a time of fitnah when hijab and niqob as provided in the Kitab wa
sunnah (Q24:31, Q33:33 and Q33:59) are hated and mocked even by Muslims.
SubhanaLah! We are in a time when women (even Muslims) expose their beauties for the
admiration of the public without a bit of shame. We are in a time of fitnah when mistakes are corrected politely in line with the
Kitab wa Sunnah, the next thing you will hear is "don't judge me". We are in a time when those who claim to be custodians of Islamic law and
teachings are the ones breaching the rules without sense of remorse. We are in a time when civilization is judged based on the level at which someone
can go crazy in public without shame. We are in a time of fitnah where the shar'iah is placed under local tradions and
customs We are in a time where if any part of the shari'ah is not in conformity with any
western ideology or doctrine; the shari'ah is rejected even by those who claim to
be Muslims. We are in a time of fitnah when people (even the majority of Muslims) think any
aspect of the Qur'an and Sunnah that is not in line with their own desire are
optional. We are in a time of fitnah when ladies offer sex for graduation, youth service
posting and job. We are in a time when Muslim marriages are conducted in a way fundamentally
different from what the shari'ah provides. We are in a time of fitnah when request for help to study or to set up an ideal
home is turn-down, but huge amount of funds are lavished on unnecessary
wedding events, birthday galas and luxurious mansions. We are in a time when zina is cheaper than pure water and marriage becomes
expensive and very difficult to go into. We are in a time when the politicians, musicians, movie stars, models (who walk
naked in front of the public), politicians and fake spiritual leaders are the most
celebrated. We are in a time of fitnah when leaders govern their people wickedly and the
people curse them in return. We are in a time when cheating, bribery, favouritism, tribalism, stealing, racism,
unlawful killings and unlawful transactions like riba, gambling etc have become
the order of the day. We are in a time when people search for Arabic and Islamic knowledge, not for
the sake of Allah, but for the sake of pride, arrogance, show-off and to mislead
unsuspecting ignorant and negligent Muslims from the path of Allah and His
Messenger, sollaLohu 'alaihi. We are in a time when poor persons who commits an offence would be made to
taste the required punishment. Whereas someone from a wealthy family who
commits greater offence would go unpunished. If placing Islam first in all matters is extremism, what would the practice of bid'ah
(innovations), imitation of the kuffaar and exceeding the limits set by Allah
mean? Abu Umayyah As-sha'baaniy, rodhiyaLohu 'anhu reported that the Prophet,
sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam said: a time would come when the practice of the deen
would become so difficult, it would be like holding on to burning coal. He said
whoever holds on to his religion properly during that time would have a reward
that is equal to that of 50 amongst you. The Companions asked "among us or
among them", the Prophet, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam said: "among you". This hadith can be found in Sunan Abu Daud, 4341. It is graded Sahih (authentic)
according to At-Tahawi and Al-Mundhiri The hadith is saying people who insist on practicing Islam according to the
Sunnah in the face of all obstacles we experience today would have the reward of
50 persons among the Companions. It must be noted that this does not
necessarily mean that the person would be better than the Companions,
rodhiyaLohu 'anhum because there is no one who can practice Islam today as the
Companions practiced it. The statement of the Prophet, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam here is for us to know and imagine how difficult it would be to practice
Islam properly during this particular time. In the riwaayah of Anas Bin Maalik, rodyiLohu 'anhu, the Prophet, sollaLohu
'alaihi wasalam said: “There shall come upon the people a time in which the one who is steadfast upon
his religion will be like the one holding onto a burning ember.” (Hasan) [Chapters
on Al-Fitan: Jami At-Tirmidhi] This hadith informs us that the Muslim Ummah shall pass through periods when
wickedness, lewdness
and sinfulness will hold sway in the society, and the believers shall find it very
difficult to preserve their faith, and swim against the surging tide of worldly
benefits and gains. Holding onto one’s faith under these conditions will in fact be
like holding on to a live coal in the palm of one’s hand, which will be a highly challenging and trying task. So, when we try to admonish one another on the fitnah of this time; we should
not be seen as a group of people trying to purify or praise themselves. No one is
completely free from all these problems; we are just trying as much as possible
to train our minds against them. Anyone who thinks our society is okay like this
or that the hadith of the Prophet, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam as presented above
is not applicable to this time is ignorant. The problem of many Muslims today is that many of us don't know many of these important hadiths. The so called
scholars (Alfas) who deceive their followers would find it hard to read these kind
of hadiths to their blind-followers because they do not want their eyes to be
opened at all. And if you look at it very well, our problem is that we don't love to
hear the truth. We love lies and deceits. No wonder, one of the great poets says: ﻫﺬ ﺍﻟﺰﻣﺎﻥ ﺍﻟﺬﻯ ﻛﻨﺎ ﻧﺤﺎﺫﺭﻩ ** ﻓﻰ ﻗﻮﻝ ﻛﻌﺐ ﻭﻓﻰ ﻗﻮﻝ ﭐﺑﻦ ﻣﺴﻌﻮﺩ ﺩﻫﺮ ﺑﻪ ﺣﻖ ﻣﺮﺩﻭﺩ ﺑﺄﺟﻤﻌﻪ ** ﻭﺍﻟﻈﻠﻢ ﻭﺍﻟﺒﻐﻲ ﻏﻴﺮ ﻣﺮﺩﻭﺩ ﺇﻥ ﺩﺍﻡ ﻫﺬﺍ ﻭﻟﻢ ﺗﺤﺪﺙ ﻟﻪ ﻏﻴﺮ ** ﻟﻢ ﻳﺒﻜﻰ ﻣﻴﺖ ﻭﻻ ﻳﻔﺮﺡ ﺑﻤﻮﻟﻮﺩ "This is the time we are warned against, in the statements of Ka'b and Ibn
Mas'ud; A time when the truth is rejected in its entirety, while corruption (and all
acts of indecency) and rebellion are not rejected; If things continues like these,
there would not be cry upon deaths again and happiness upon births" Consequently, when we advise fellow Muslims not to celebrate or attach any
unnecessary recognition to birthdays, maolid, new year, christmas, wedding
anniversaries, fidau and several other unlawful events in our present society; it is
because we have evidence to back it up. It is because we love ourselves. We
have nothing to gain in telling lies or exaggerating the prohibitions of Allah and
His Messenger, sollaLohu 'alaihi wasallam. When we condemn staging of marriages (cutting of cakes, extravagance,
exchange of rings, transparent wedding gowns, free mix dancing between men
and women etc) in a way that offends the provisions of the shari'ah, it is because
we know the implications. It is because we read the above hadith and other
relevant provisions of the shari'ah. The fact that the people who do all these kind
of things are in the majority does not mean they are right. As we can see from the above hadith; it would be difficult for Muslims to hold on to the real practice of
the shari'ah during this time. Only very few people would be able to do it. So, why
not try to be among those few? Allah says in Suratul Jaathiyah: ﺛُﻢَّ ﺟَﻌَﻠْﻨَﺎﻙَ ﻋَﻠَﻰٰ ﺷَﺮِﻳﻌَﺔٍ ﻣِﻦَ ﺍﻟْﺄَﻣْﺮِ ﻓَﺎﺗَّﺒِﻌْﻬَﺎ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺗَﺘَّﺒِﻊْ ﺃَﻫْﻮَﺍﺀَ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻟَﺎ ﻳَﻌْﻠَﻤُﻮﻥَ "Then We put you, [O Muhammad], on an ordained way concerning the matter [of
religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know" When we say listening to music, taking of pictures (including its display in the
public domain like the internet especially by sisters), consumption of alcohol,
betting, courtship, free mixing with strange opposite sex (both online and
otherwise) are haram, we are not exaggerating. We are only telling ourselves the
bitter truth. We must try our best to abstain from all these things. Islam is built
upon rules and regulations. A Muslim cannot just chose to do what he or she likes. We are created for the purpose of worship and this has its guidelines in the
Kitab wa Sunnah. Our main reason for existence is worship. We must not allow
any extracurricular activity take us away from our main duties and
responsibilities. May Allah guide us aright and make it easy for us to hold on to the deen in this
time of great fitnah.
